A few years ago NJPW set up a dojo in California, it attracted
the top tier of US independents looking for work on the other
side of the pacific. Sometimes, just sometimes, Youtube brings
us all a little bit of magic. Ladies and gentleman. Joey Ryan vs
Daniel Bryan with CM Punk on commentary.

For two wrestlers I don't care much for, they put on a good
match. I enjoyed the match.

I think Joey is more palatable when he isn't giving it the
comedy lounge act, on the other hand is he a great technician
probably not, so in the personality ruled world of US Pro
Wrestling comedy will get him further. Here though its really
New Japan style so he's good as a straight up wrestler.
Punk's commentary is spot on, I like how he pushed ROH as like
a heel faction 'cause clearly Bryan was the heel here.
