Leon's Thoughts on wrestling blogy thing
By: leonkenworthy Date: August 24, 2012, 5:07 pm
---------------------------------------------------------
Hi TNA family!
Im going to be doing a blog type thing on my thoughts about
recent events in wrestling! This isn't just our fave TNA but all
wrestling in general.
As this is the first i may trail off on a tangent so bare with
me! These are my thoughts and opinions not what is and fact.
Please enjoy my rant with a glass of your fave brandy next to a
open fire in a bath robe. Please feel free to disagree too!
This week was a very sad time. We had known it was coming but it
was ignored till the actual event guessing our own outcomes and
hoping the rumors were all false.......Y2J has left again! We
all knew his return was only to tide him over while the rest of
Fozzy finished recording Sin and Bones album (which btw is a
good album worth buying if you like a mix of metal and hair
rock). He returned after starting a twitter war with CM Punk,
over punk copying his gimicks, and proceded to propell punk to
the level of the Austins and Rocks. Wrestling fans said punk vs
jericho at mainia was the best match next to the hell in a cell
match. I loved the Rock vs John 5 moves Cena because it was
awesome to see cena struggle to actually win! After putting over
Ziggler he has left to tour with Fozzy full time leaving us all
feeling empty. But my 'beef' is how they let him go. Summerslam
was just Ziggler vs Y2J then RAW the next night a rematch,
Zigglers money in the bank vs Y2J's contract. Why didn't they do
THAT at summerslam? Why just a 1v1 no stipulation instead of a
high risk gamble match? Plus i would have loooved jericho to
have walked away with the money in the bank breifcase too. What
better way to tease his return then having him pop up now and
again eyeing up the champ! so much available and so much missed!
But why build up ziggler just to take away what you gave him to
legitimize his up and coming title rein. As theres only cena
whos wasted his money in the bank the idiot!
In the world of TNA, we have had the news we all wanted months
ago. The Aj claire story is to cese!!! YEAHH!! BUT wait! think
for a second. The only reason roode and aires were fighting was
because aj was in a story with daniels. Surely now AJ is going
to be free means hes off after the title. Surely as cena qins
the belt at least once a year AJ will end up Champ again!
Surely? maybe im been harsh on TNA......

Very good read thanks for taking the time to. Do this :)
I am with the I wish Y2j would of won the MITB and walked out
then so when he comes back he can cash it in. Everyone new he
was only at wwe for a bit until he went back to his band.
I also hope it is the rock vs CM punk not jon.

Ive just lost my entire continuation of this blog! i'll briefly
round up the rest! AJ been set free from this disaster of a
story puts fear in me that Angle, Hardy, Anderson and Joe are
going to be overlooked by the poster boy for tna AJ in the title
picture. I hope not because those guys have been waiting for
roode to get his fight on with storm so storm can be champ.
Sorry A double but your a stop point for storm vs roode part 2.
LOVE AA but we all know whats coming.
Joey Ryan is soon the debut!! im extremely excited for this as
since his gutcheck match against AA hes impressed me so much. I
loved his charisma, his strut to the ring looking like a porno
version of magnum pi to his excelent ring talent. Hes a 10 year
indie vet with multi title riegns and his wiki reads like a
story of a retired wrestler not a 'up and commer'. Joey will be
a very welcome addition to TNA. Im writing this while in my ryan
t-shirt he sent to me personaly! dont see cena sending his own
merch!
I'll stop for this addition, im tired and lost track completely!
Sound off below and remember tna family! Ryan will give you all
a mustache ride if you dont like it! BLOG OFF!

Y2J is just like the Rock. He's only there for a few apperances
then he's gone again for about a year. If these two wrestlers
don't want to wrestle in WWE on a more permenant basis then I
would not be willing to sign them the next time they wanted to
come back. Y2J is off to make music with Fozzy and from what
I"ve heard of Jericho's singing let's hope the band can cover
his bad singing voice. Not as bad as Ozzie but it was bad from
what i've heard. Now the Rcok he's one of the biggest liars in
pro wrestling history but yet the fans are dumb enough to keep
coming back to him. He will say I'm back to stay then leave
after that night of wrestling for about 4 months if not more.

I completely disagree but thats life lol! Both the rock and
Jericho have done absolute wonders for wrestling and the wwe.
They are ONE of the reasons why the wwe and wrestling in general
is still on our screens. The popularity and charisma that they
poured into our eyes and ears day after day stopped people in
their tracks to watch keeping the ratings up and wrestling on
our tvs. Y2J even paved the way for smaller guys to hold
championships again during a time when vince was going towards
bigger guys. As for rock been a lier I just can't see your
argument there. Hes a movie star now not a wrestler anymore. He
was on wwe tv on and off for a year before beating the 'face' of
wwe cena at the biggest events of the year. Plus I thought mania
was one od the best in a very long time! And if Jericho's voice
is so bad then why is his albums selling so well and criticaly
acclaimed? I know they are your opinions but I had to argue
thier point! Thanks for replying too. Its nice to see :)

When the Rock came back to face Cena you knew they were going to
let Rock win the match. Rock may have started out as as a
wrestler turned actor but it's like bringing in David Arquette
to win the WCW title. Granted Rock is 1000 times better at
wrestling than Arquette but pushing the actor instead of a
person who still wrestles for a living? I give Rock credit he
is a good wrestler but the fans keep accepting him back each
time he comes back after his hiatus of a year. Maybe I"m more
of a "old school" wrestling fan and hard to accept the idea of
pushing someone who keeps quitting the "sport" using sport very
loosely after one match then coming back a year later, espically
when he's made the comment that "THE ROCK IS HERE TO STAY". To
me that is lying to the fans because he leaves after that main
ppv match.

Everything in wrestling is a work. Is bringing The Rock back
really that much different to paying Brock Lesnar mega bucks? I
don't think it is. Both are there to sell the product, granted
they do it a different way but both are just salesmen at the end
of the day

For me personally I hate seeing Jericho, Rock and Lesner all do
this... they make such a big fuss that they "Have" Returned and
some say to stay. Push the wrestlers that you have under
contract not these wrestlers that come in for one match then
leave again.. I know it brings in big cash when these once a
year stars come in but WWE, TNA and ROH need to push the people
they have instead bringing in these one nighters.
As a wrestling fan that has been a fan since the Bruno
Sammartino, Crusher, Bruiser, Black Jack Lanza and Mulligan days
I think bringing these one nighter stars doesn't do anything for
the wrestling industry in the long run.
