How would you Fix Impact Have your say

For the past few months it has been getting increasingly harder
and harder for me to sit through Impact Wrestling, and I'm to
the point where I have stopped watching.
I believe awhile ago Dixie Carter said in an interview that she
wanted TNA to be "edgy but without and edge." I would book the
show by adding some more real life aspects to it, as well as
doing some other things. How would you fix thhe current product,
heres some BASIC ideas, I don't do this often so bare with me
here.
THE EDGY
1) SEXUAL HARSSMENT - Staring Austin Aries and Christy Hemme
I know everyone has different views on the subject, but if it
was a work or if it wasn't I think it could be something
interesting. If Christy agreed and Dixie agreed it could be
great, but I don't thnk it will happen:
Austin Aries comes to the ring and asks Christy Hemme if she
would please enter the ring. Christy reluctantly makes her way
up the steel steps, before Aries speeds up the process by
pulling her into the ring. He says that everyone has been
telling him how wrong it was for him to do what he did to the
"poor poor" Christy Hemme. Hell, he has even been fined for it.
He begins to say how sorry he is... sorry that he didn't do it
sooner. Aries knows Christy enjoyed what she got two weeks ago
in Mississippi! She is just afraid to confess her true feelings
about A double to the entire world. Aries proceeds to back
Christy into the corner of the ring, and he forcibly kisses her.
Christy pushes him off and slaps him, but Aries knocks her down
to the mat with a push. (I know SpikeTV doesn't allow
male/female violence) Booby Roode rushes to the ring and makes
Aries leaves the arena and then checks on Hemme later in the
night.
Summary : Roode doesn't like how Austin is treating women,
espically Hemme, and it could lead to a feud between the former
tag team champions.
2) ABUSE
This is just an idea, and I'm not even sure who would take the
roles for this two characters. I choose Matt Hardy and Reby Sky
because they're engaged, and Reby Sky could be that beautiful
girl that gets Hardy the massive heat
Matt and Reby debut as a Babyface team, with Matt as a single
wrestler for the mid-card division (if TNA ever gets one) and
Reby as his valet. Matt picks up the wins constantly, week after
week until he become the Televison Champion. At the biggest PPV
event of the year, BFG, Matt faces the returning Crimson.
Crimson picks up the win and the televison title. Later that
night, Matt is seen backstage screaming at Reby blaming her for
distracting him and costing him the match. She says she is
sorry. For the next few weeks, Matt is back to winning matches,
but whenever he loses he blames it all on Reby Sky. The abuse
takes place only when he loses (bad temper). Until Jeff Hardy
decides to step in and put his brother in his place while
helping Reby.
Since Spike TV does not allow female/male violence, all abuse
segments will be shot backstage. Example: Spike TV cameras run
up to Matt Hardy's closed lockeroom door, you can hear a women
crying and matt screaming. He runs furious out of the locker
room, and Spike TV cameras enter, finding Reby Sky crying in a
corner, with a mark on her _____ (arm, check, black eye,
whaetver) or just crying.
FIXING THE NOW
1) THE KNOCKOUTS DIVISION - I think one of that major problems
with the Knockouts division is that all the women on the main
roster, besides Taryn, faced eachother and/or held the title. We
need NEW female wrestlers, and I think the problem will solve
itself. The only heels we have on the Knockout roster is Gailk
Kim and Tara- TURN MICKIE JAMES
2) THE X-DIVISION - Three way matches are hurting more then
they're helping in my opinion. The matches are so predicatable,
a competitior gets thrown out of the ring, and two face off
until another is thrown out of the ring. I liked feuds where two
guys just hate eachother and thats what is missing, but Kenny
King and Chris Sabin seems like it could change the division
rules. I think the three ways could stay for tournaments, but we
should have one on one for the title matches.
3) THE MID-CARD DIVISION - First there needs to be an actual
divison before you can fix it. Devon holding the title and not
defending it ever isn't helping the situation.
4) THE TAG TEAM DIVISION -I don't see any problems with the
current tag team division, as they're all entertaining. I think
Roode should be in the main event. I would just add some more
wrestlers to the tag division, it doesn't really need help.
5) WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT DIVISION - Sting should not be going after
the title in 2013. He should have more of a backstage role. I
would keep Jeff Hardy, Bully Ray, Roode, Magnus, Abyss, Rob
Terry (for the look), Chris Sabin (Option C) in this division. I
like Kurt Angle, but he should be like Sting and have more of a
backstage role. He has been in this division for so long, and he
looks injured and hurt all the time.
THE ACES & EIGHTS - Well, we all know what I would do with the
group, get rid of them. I'll elaborate more on how later.
So throw some ideas out and how would you fix the current show?

I would have LESS Hogan time in ring. No one wants a 30 min ego
boost (sorry Promo) from him anymore. Let him do his backstage
GM stuff, but please, for the love of Wrestling, keep him AWAY
from the ring.
Aces & 8s. Something MAJOR needs to happen with this storyline
and ASAP!!!! Its become boring, repetative and predictable. I
like the idea of a mole within the ranks, someone passing info
along to team TNA or just end it.
The Knockouts: CALL UP TAELOR & LEI'D from Gutcheck. Hell i'd
even sign Ivellise.
GET RID OF KENNY KING.
Bring back Gunner & Crimson

Aces and 8s is a no go for me, I do not give a crap about them
anymore and seeing the same old things weekly. Less hogan and
more wrestling also I would like to see the young guys back in
TNA like Gunner

My biggest issue is there is not enough different and not enough
traditional. I like where you are going TNA Girl. Simple
believable stories are not this booking crews forte.
Point by point on the now;
FIXING THE NOW

Couldn't agree more. The matches they have had have been great
as of late. Gail Kim is the scariest heel in the company (Bully
Ray doesn't come close and he is pretty good). They need some
more dominant heels, Mickie James is clearly on her way heel
now. They need Alpha Female style heels though.
2) THE X-DIVISION - Three way matches are hurting more then

The X division used to be about who could steal the show. Now
its is about who can string the most high spots into their
alloted 30 seconds. As spot fests go the matches they have had
have been amazing, but there is no variety. Bringing Petey back
was genius, but there are no shooters like Joe to balance
things. Someone like Davey Richards or Kyle O'Reilly would liven
things up and they could use it as a stepping stone to bigger
things like Austin Aries. And Yes get shot of three way matches.
They are just an excuse to get guys over.
3) THE MID-CARD DIVISION - First there needs to be an actual
divison before you can fix it. Devon holding the title and not
defending it ever isn't helping the situation.
The only true lower mid carders they have are all getting
squashed by Rob Terry every week. They need a long term program
that give them chance to shine and tell a story. This one is
done. The upper mid card guys are waiting for their
opportunities and keep getting stuck because of Aces and 8s. Man
that storyline sucks it drains so much momentum from everything.
4) THE TAG TEAM DIVISION -I don't see any problems with the
current tag team division, as they're all entertaining. I think
Roode should be in the main event. I would just add some more
wrestlers to the tag division, it doesn't really need help.
I would say use it more like they use it in Japan. They don't
have secondary titles over there. They use the Tag Belts to
elevate people to main event status. Tag champs get title shots.
No one wants to invest in long term tag teams anymore. So just
embrace it, you have one Bad Influence, who are VFM any day of
the week, other than use it as a building block to the main
event.
5) WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT DIVISION - Sting should not be going after
the title in 2013. He should have more of a backstage role. I
would keep Jeff Hardy, Bully Ray, Roode, Magnus, Abyss, Rob
Terry (for the look), Chris Sabin (Option C) in this division. I
like Kurt Angle, but he should be like Sting and have more of a
backstage role. He has been in this division for so long, and he
looks injured and hurt all the time.
I'd keep Hardy off that list to (Sorry Chrissie) just because he
isn't TNA made, you coudl argue Bully Ray is. He reinvented
himself. They need to focus on guys that have done something big
with TNA, that are their own products.

So throw some ideas out and how would you fix the current show?
Everyone knows my craziest idea, which is just two titles World
and World Tag Team and no gender divisions, but looking
realistically they are not going to change course directly
overnight. It will take subtle and simple change. I would just
like to see something like they booking of 2012 which had me on
the edge of my seat. As opposed to this booking which makes me
want to throw darts at Dave Lagana's head.

But where would Jeff go? He wouldnt go to WWE because of being
on the road pretty much 24/7

2012 was a lot better at booking the matches and it was not just
the same ones , what made it better for the fans

I think hogan and sting should both be put in the back , But TNA
are always offering sting the shot . It s not don to sting he
has said he would like to have some time in the back with the
young ones , but it is TNA who keep going to sting when they
have nothing.
Kurt angle ! Bully Ray and Jeff can still go in the ring so I
would keep them on Impact , also it looks a lot better when a
young guy gets a win over one of the big names .. Also you have
to think about it this way Impact needs fans to come and watch
it if you take away all the big names you will loose a lot of
fans ..
TNA have got to start making the stars of Tomoz before they
loose all the big names and then they have no one to fill their
spots..
Mix up the TV roster let us see some of the young guys and girls
and make new matches . I had it with seeing the same old matches
weekly . (Tag team same 3 people )

The first thing I would like to see is more cracks in the Aces &
8's where they start turning on each other.
Second thing would be less Hogan, Sting, Park, Joey Ryan and
Robbie E. Maybe let them wrestle or air time but not nearly as
long of an air time as what they get now. Third thing I would do
would be bring back the 6 sided ring. This is one of the things
that made TNA different than the other promotions. A lot of
people want to see Jeff Jarrett back but that would be adding
another person like Hogan and Sting that would take away from
the younger, fresher wrestlers. Don't get me wrong nothing
really wrong with having the older wresters but give them less
air time. I agree that you need the older guys to help with
promoting the program just because of their name status.

than that to get TN back on the right road
