Jay Brisco Making amends

"Jay Briscoe would like to again express his sincerest apologies
and regrets to all, especially his young fans, for his recent
hateful twitter comment. Ring of Honor has insisted that Jay
also make a public apology at the Ring of Honor event this
Saturday night. Jay will address the public during the event.
In addition to this apology, Ring of Honor and Jay have agreed
that he will donate his full pay from the next two Ring of Honor
events to the Partners Against Hate charitable organization.
Partners Against Hate was created to help prevent, deter, and
reduce juvenile hate-related behavior.

ROH needs to apologize to Briscoe that they won't let him have
free speech. He said what he believes and he got reprimanded
for it. He doesn't need to apologize to anyone for making a
statement that he believes in. Let's do this free speech for
both sides not just one side.

I think now he has said sorry and trying to make things right I
think people should let it go .

The thing is they don't make the pro-gay people apologize to the
non-gay people for their crude remarks. It works both ways, or
it's supposed to.

It's just both sides are cruel in their statements. What makes
this thing wrong is because Briscoe is in the limelight. If
he's against gay marriages he should be able to say it in public
without being reprimanded. Now for the violent threats, yes he
was wrong for doing that. Nobody should be threatened just
because of what he/she believes.

And like I said elsewhere I have zero problem with Jay being
anti gay marriage. Thats fine, doesn't bother me at all. He is
still one half of the best tag team in North America for the
last ten years, he still produces laugh out loud promos and I
still love the guy. Hey has his beliefs and is entitled to his
opinion no matter how unenlightened it is. He can say that he is
anti gay marriage, he can't threated to shoot people. If he had
attended a rally for a GOP candidate whit strong social views no
one would have batted an eyelid. He didn't.
