Your top five Headcases in Wrestling History
   DIR By: tnafanforum
       Date: January 31, 2013, 6:25 am
       ---------------------------------------------------------
You pretty much have to be a little "off" to become a
professional wrestler. The idea of getting the hell beaten out
of you on a nightly basis for fake storylines and some of the
best reality television ever written leaves many of us to wonder
if it is the other way around.
Are we the headcases in everyday life and the wrestlers and
those in the business lead a normal existence?
Who knows, and who really cares?
But wrestling is the "science" that always leaves us guessing
       and wanting more.
And we look at some of these larger-than-life characters and
"believe" they are who they say they are.
And the gimmick they have us believe and the antics they perform
in the ring make them seem a little "too real" for us at the
       same time.
These wrestlers (and there are hundreds more) stand out as the
biggest headcases over the years. This is up for debate, and
there is no set order to this list.
       I hope you enjoy.
This is my top five crazy wrestlers
       5) has got to be Mick Foley. He is Three people in one. And
Foley plays all of them well.
There is no one like Foley on the planet. And he is as smart a
businessperson in and out of the ring.
Foley has to be a headcase to do some of the things he has done
over the years. He makes the impossible seem possible.
       4) sabu He is one of the best hardcore champions of all time.
And he has been in some of the most hardcore matches in
wrestling. In every match he put his body on the line night in
       and night out .
       3) Al snow ok he talks to a fake head guys if that is not crazy
I do not p what is lol
       2) Daffney she is a crazy chick and just look at her. She was
fun to watch when she was with tna but yes she was a big crazy.
       1) this one for me is a must have n the list he has been in some
of the most crazy matches I have ever sew . Abyss
Tell us what your top five is and why

5)Purple Haze just look at him he is crazy and did some crazy
       things.
       4) Goldust
       Big, strong and feminine.
That best described Goldust, one of the best gimmicks of all
       time in the WWF.
His vignettes with his "wife" Marlena were ahead of its time and
he could control the crowd with his antics and get the best of
his opponents whether in a win or a loss.
       3) Jake Roberts no one plays with snakes what could kill you
       2) Kane and when I say this I mean the old kane who was in some
of the best wwe matches ever
       1) will have to go to the crazy hell in a cell match mick foley

I would say the old Kane should be on the list but the reason I
did not put him on my list is because of what WWE have done to
       him now

       I'm going with actual crazy;
5 Juventud Guerarra - I watched the final of the GHC Jnr. Heavy
title tournament from the early days of NOAH recently. Juvi was
in the final and lovingly taped pictures of his new born baby on
the ring post. I went awww. Then remembered he was the guy who
he ran naked through Miami airport while out of his mind on X.
Glad he found some balance though.
4 Stan Hansen - Ever seen him angry? Go look through Botchamania
in on episode Stan gets stiffed by Gen Tenyru then promptly goes
on a ten minute tirade entitled "no one potatoes me you son of a
bitch" and starts flinging chairs wrestlers and ring announcers
everywhere. That bastion of common sense Terry Gordy has the job
       of calming him down.
3 Peter Maivia - Or The Rock's Grandad as he is now known. Peter
was as hard as they come and once enabled with alcohol would
literally want to take on the US Marine corps. One night he took
       a disking to British
       wrestler/shooter/hooker/will-rip-your-arm-off-and-eat-in-front-of-you
type guy Billy Robinson. The end result was that several
wrestlers had to calm him down before it got hospital ugly.
2 Terry Funk - Much has been said of Terry's lack of common
sense and the legendary stories its created. My favorite came
from the late Mike Graham son of Florida promoter Eddie Graham.
When Mike was a kid the Grahams went out to West Texas to
celebrate the 4th of July at Dory Funk Senior's house. Terry on
leave from his national guard training was upset they didn't
have any fireworks and set off to his base. He returned an hour
or so later and and set up his own fireworks display lobbing
live hand grenades down the Funk property.
1 - The Ultimate Warrior Career sabotage, unsavory personal
opinions he just about does it all. My personal favourite was
his WCW run where he did a 15 minute promo on live TV that was
supposed to last 3 minutes. His mindless rambling hurting the
show somewhat horribly. The sad part is that he came in through
trap door, the same trap door that nearly broke Davey Boy
Smith's back and left him on pain medication.

Someone has to do a book of Terry funk stories somewhere.
Another favourite was the time he had just taken over Amarillo
from his Dad and business was down so he goes out on the mic on
Friday night and says "next week I will be wrestling a grizzly
bear" anyway the paper does a publicity piece on the bear
wrestling story so the city council gets wind of it and tells
him he can't wrestle a grizzly bear. Terry goes and picks up the
bear on the Friday and mulls over what to do. Terry goes to the
hardware store and buys some tins of white paint. Then when he
gets to the show he announces "I'm sorry folks, I can't wrestle
a grizzly bear, but as his replacement please welcome Snowy the
       Polar bear".
