TNA turning everybody heel!!

(gggrr) Please tell me that its not just me that feels that TNA
is turning everybody on their roster heel? They started the ball
rolling with Aries when he became champion, then Magnus when he
couldn't defeat Samoa Joe, a bit out of chronological order
they've turned AJ heel, they've turned Anderson heel, they
turned Devon heel they turned Matt Morgan heel, Joey Ryan, and
they're starting to do it with Kenny King, this is on top of
Bobby Roode, Chris Daniels, Kazarian, Kid Kash, Gunner, Zema
Ion, Tara, Madison Rayne, Gail Kim and Matt Crimson! Its a
losing battle TNA what are you smoking?? (sick1)

I agree it is over kill, but then once Hardy had one the title
they had only two decent heels Aries and Roode. So they did need
to switch things about. I would disagree that Kenny King is a
heel, he gets as much crowd reaction as wall paper paste.

Are there really any heels or faces in wrestling anymore? Rood
and Aries are supposed to be heels but they've been attacked by
Aces & 8's. They've attcked Kaz and Daniels. So that would make
them a heel that is cheered by the fans. They will wrestle both
heel and face. I remember back in the AWA days when the
supposedly clean wrestling champion Vern Gagne would wrestle the
British Commonweath Champion Billy Robinson who also was a face.
Somehow Gagne would get himself disqualified in almost every
match against Robinson, when both of these wrestlers were
considered faces. If Gagne was such a clean wrestler back then,
why did he get disqualified against another face?

Because they where protecting Billy and Verne, but I agree that
there distinction gets blurred. Let's face it Austin Aries is
over as a face no matter how heelish he acts.

he was loved as a heel so people wanted to see him be a heel if
you get me ..

See here is the thing. Heat has changed down the years. Back in
the day Heat was simple; heels cheat they got heat. Now not so
much, the smart/smark/meta fans don't just cheer a face, said
face has to earn the cheers. So certain wrestlers, John Cena
being the prime example, don't get quite the desired response
every time. The most obvious occurrence of this I think started
at One Night Only in 2006. John Cena vs RVD for the WWE/ECW
title. Cena in an ECW originals arena facing one of the most
beloved ECW wrestlers ever was obviously going to get booed.
They actually where baying for blood. Fast forward to 2011 Money
in the Bank and you have the next most vocal occurrence. CM Punk
vs John Cena, again, Punk was being portrayed as the most
devious and untrustworthy heel ever in WWE history, he was going
to take the title and go home, he was going to betray the WWE.
How did Chicago react? By booing Cena mercilessly.
Now of course Punk has turned heel since then, but the
smart/smark/meta fans will boo him, because the respect him and
they know that he is doing great things and the company respects
Punk so they are happy to play along. Incur their wrath though
and you have problems. Last years Wrestlemania Daniel Bryan
looses the world title in 14 seconds, the fans are denied their
5 star classic, and though he is a heel, Bryan gets cheered when
he leaves the ring and the next night on Raw the infamous YES
YES YES episode occurs.
In TNA, Austin Aries suffers that same issue, a fan base even
tighter and, more loyal and very much into the product like
TNA's fan base, though smaller than the WWE, has a bigger
problem with it because it is more noticeable. Aries is clearly
the fans choice for the main event every time, he gets cheered
loud and clear wherever he goes. Either the fans think he is
getting a raw deal, or they think he should be higher up the
card and will continue to disobey till that happens, we shall
see. Bully Ray is getting more boos as a heel because as JP said
thats what everyone wanted him to be.
If you have any doubts about Bully Ray's ability to talk his way
into trouble, go and find some old ECW tapes of the Dudleys
during their run with Tommy Dreamer. The Dudleys broke Beulah
Mcguilicutty's neck (in the storyline) and this gave them
absolute white hot heat that their favourite ever female had to
leave the company because of them. Maybe because they all had
her Penthouse issue but anyways. Bully was given free reign to
do as he wished on the microphone, and he did. The result; "Well
we got a mom who looks like she taught her own daughter how to
suck dick." The man has a talent. It is being used well.
