Your right Wigner. It's a bit frustrating but i doubt we will
see any news of signings for at least a couple of weeks. Hold
tight.

I always thought Tom Caladine was our captain.

You are right I think Madison was Vice captain and Calla was the
captain. They will just be 'bigging up' the signing for there
fans.

Old boy Barney, has signed for London Irish. I can't believe
that Ealing have released him. He had some excellent reports
last season and he has been selected, in the Second Row, in the
latest Championship Select XV.
I can't remember who Ealing have signed to replace him, but he
must be a bloody good player.

Ealing now have Sam Dickinson - he’s not bad at second row, or
back row!

Hope we start to hear a bit more about the Titans for next
season pretty soon. It’s slways exciting to read about the team.
Recruitment will have to be strong for National 1

There has been plenty of activity on the Player Interviewing
front, with Joe Barker sitting in on the interviews, that could
tell us something. With Martin being our DOR, he would take
the lead on Interviewing and Recruiting of Players.
I've no idea if we will have a Head Coach as such, we may well
have a Forwards Coach and a Backs Coach working as a Team with
Martin. Our Coaches may well also be signed on as Players. I
don't think that this would be a bad idea.
At Newcastle Dean Richards, who we think of as Head Coach, is
their DOR who takes little part in the Training Sessions. He
has a Team of Coaches under him to take these sessions. This
system has worked very well for them this season.
It is frustrating when we don't hear news regarding recruitment,
it's a matter of being patient. There will be a lot of work
to do, players will be paid for playing, but unless our New
Players are recruited from within easy traveling distance, they
will need accommodation and some form of employment found.
Fingers Crossed that there may be some News in this Fridays
Advertiser. If not, more frustration, but Hey Ho, we've
been here before. As long has when we see our New squad, it
gives us hope for next season, then the wait will have been
worth it.

Any news on the pedigree of the players recruited? Looks like
there is some good recruitment going on in National 1 already.
It will be a long, hard and tough season. A comfy position in
the top half would be good next season - you don’t get the vibe
that we are recruiting a team that will storm the division.
Looking forward to new teams to watch and more games with
meaning.
