Bristol this weekend

A win this weekend against moneybags Bristol and the dream
become alive again. I think the Bristol players are already in
job done mode and will be thinking about the break before the
Prem. I HOPE SO.

I think this team the way they’re playing wouldn’t be in the
position they are if managed like this at the beginning of the
season. Can’t see us beating Bristol I’m afraid.
I’d love the club to let us have an inkling of future plans.
It’ll boost the chances of season tickets sales.

Don't know why but i really fancy us in this one. I agree with
the above that they will come thinking it's in the bag and if
our boys put everything into it I can see a David vs Goliath
moment coming our way. I hope i'm right! Even if (when) we get
relegated it would make the season if we took a top of the
league scalp!

We have had our moments against Bristol. Since Leagues began we
have beaten them 6 times.
Following Bristol's reletation from the Premiership at the end
of the 97 / 98 season, We beat them at Home 16 - 05 and Away
36 - 31. At the end of the season Bristol were Promoted back
to the Premiership. Great performances from the Titans.
Season 2010 / 11 we again beat them twice, Home 26 / 24 and
Away 22 / 21. Both heart stopping games.
Season 2011 / 12 we beat them at Home 44 - 06. BESTER must
have run about 20 miles up and down the touchline that day.
Season 2012 / 13 we beat them at Home 23 - 16. Should have
Won by a bigger margin.
MEMORIES are wonder full things.

I remember we played them 3-4 years ago at Bris. I listened to
the wonderful unbiased Radio Bristol commentary with increasing
irritation as Bris built up a bit of a lead. Then slowly we came
back and eventually Socino won it with the last kick of the
match. Much harrumphing from the unbiased commentary team. A
great moment.

Best Bristol moment has to be the Mike Schmit dive for the try
which clinched the cup win against them when they were Prem and
we weren't. Memorial stadium I think. The picture is still on
the driveway at The Lane, perhaps.
Is there any doubt about whether today's game will take place?
