I don't think the result will be changed now.
What we HAVE to do now if win our next 2 games. 5 points against
Stour (As we did at their place) and beat Hull away at all
costs. From then on we HAVE to win our remaining games all with
bonus points to give us our best chance.
Then we can only hope thats Hull slip up in one or 2 of their
remaining games. Sedge and Hull both have to go to Lucs so
hopefully they will do us a favour and take points from them.
(they owe us one ;) ;D )
If we loose again then we are out of the race.
However, an interesting and valuable question to ask ourselves
is 'Do we actually want promotion? We had a great stint in The
Championship, however that league is looking more and more
pointless every season. Now with talks of 7 Prem 'A' teams
joining it leaving 5 'Ambitious' champ clubs in. Meaning 6 or 7
Champ clubs to be relegated to National 1.
Then inevitably 6 teams will be relegated from Nat 1 to national
2. Meaning we may win the league and be relegated again, knowing
the RFU and our luck with them we probably would be denied
promotion or something like that....
This league has some great away days for us, many Yorkshire
derbies, good standard of balanced rugby. I don't think it is a
crazy drop in standard from national 1.
If we don't get promotion could it be a blessing in disguise to
wait out the League re structure and then decide on our future?
Just a thought....

On the official website it says
Due to the ongoing RFU appeal over the Rotherham v Luctonians
game last week, the one person affected by this is included in
this week’s selections.
Therefore it appears that the result is still not decided,
fingers crossed it will be decided in our favour

Part of your post says "the ONE person effected by this is
included in this week's selections". Who is the ONE person.
I don't know but this sounds like an appeal against Dunne
being sent off ?
According to my Brother-in-Law ( from Advertiser ) the Club are
appealing regarding, did the Ball go over the bar or not.
On Twitter there's a video that, to me, shows the Ball going
OVER the bar.

Thanks for that Lindsay, I've just read it on Twitter. Great
News. Both Assists put their flags up to register a Successful
Kick, but changed their minds after the Ref had spoken to them.
I wonder if the RFU will speak to the three officials ??.
