I'm sorry to have missed that, but with the playing conditions
like they were, it's sounds like a decent End to End game. This
game was one of the five games I mentioned in an earlier post
which were possible Banana Skins. It may have been tight, but
we got the Win and that's all that matters.

Nail biting indeed. It didn’t need to be as we turned down an
easy penalty to be two scores ahead with a few minutes to go.
Good ref today and an enjoyable match.

Great win once again. Hull made a bit of a statement today. They
are looking like the most dangerous team for us in the title
race.

Strange game because I came away thinking we had lost that game
and was moaning about not kicking those potential three points ?
The score board at the Wickersley rd end definitely said Roth
13 Sedgley 14 !

Another very close finish and an excellent result. Set up by the
first 10 minutes of very solid defending.
Defence looked very solid throughout, I thought. Current 9 / 10
combination also seems to be working well.
Could have blown it though. The missed kick to touch late in
the second half, which they ran back about 80 yards, looked like
it might have cost us the game at one point.
I particularly enjoyed the first scrum when Quigs came on. And
Connor Field winning the holding-on penalty. Great performance
again. The habit of winning when it looks like we might not is a
good one to have.
Well done all.

Once again a very close game which we managed to win squeeze
home because Sedgley missed a conversion with the last kick of
the game. However, I feel the team continues to make winning a
lot more difficult than it needs to be. They certainly know how
to keep the supporters on a knife edge right to the end. By half
time we could, and should have been another 10 points ahead, if
a relatively easy penalty had not been missed and Matt Challinor
had not been sent to the bin whilst the team scored which
resulted it the try being disallowed. In the second half we did
defend our line well but at critical times basic mistakes were
made. A Kick off going straight into touch, penalties not making
touch, line outs not straight. Although in previous games I feel
Matt Minogue has contributed a great deal I feel that this
afternoon was not his best performance.

Games Point
Hull 15 64
Roth 13 59
Sedgley 15 59
Fylde 15 58
Stourbridge 14 56
Roth 13 - 12 Sedgley
Hull 48 - 05 Stourbridge
Lough 28 - 2 Fylde
I know we have to Win our games in hand to give us the
advantage, but things are looking good.

Thanks for that. My Wife and I have not shown any Symptoms,
we took a Lateral Flow Test this afternoon, they were both
Negative. We'll take a test on Sunday and Monday, if they are
Negative I'll take it that we're OK. It's our eldest Sons 53rd
Birthday on Thursday and we are going out for a meal with him
and his Wife. We can't miss a good meal.
