Fylde 40 Chester 10.
The Luctonian result shows that any team can beat each other and
no games are easy. I certainly didn’t see that on the cards.
We nearly got beaten last week at Harrogate but managed to eke
out a bonus point victory.
It goes without saying all we need to do is keep winning but
that result certainly makes life a lot easier for us.

It really is tight at the Top. We're now in 4th place, but with
games in hand over the Clubs above us. If we had played today
and gained 5pts, which I'm sure we would have, we would be
topping the table. The game against Sedgley ( H ) on Jan 8th
should be a cracker and a Victory will lay down a marker for the
Clubs above us. CAN'T WAIT.

Hull are looking dangerous. Sedgley wi be there, stourbridge
also. As you say very tight.

What was a top six now seems to look like a top 5. I wondered
how the top 5 teams got on against each other. Here's what I
found:

Sedgley Park 4 1 2 1

Stourbridge 3 2 1 0

Pretty close at the top, but Roth and Stourbridge have played
one less. Also need to remember that Top teams have lost to
teams not in the top five: Stourbridge for example. We have had
a couple of close calls against non top 5 teams as well.

I've just read the match report on Stourbridge's Website. Worth
reading.
At the beginning of the Second-Half there was a mass melee
resulting in the Ref giving 1 Yellow and 1 Red to each team.
