Not quite sure what happened today at all. Harrogate played
better than a 2nd off the bottom club. They battered our scrum
all day and no-one has done that. Towards the end of the game
was praying for time as I thought they could overturn.us.
however we dug in and got 5 when we played poor. That is a good
sign however not sure what was going on at all. It was very
frustrating.

Fantastic results for us from other games. Hull Ionians beat
Stourbridge and Loughborough prevented Sedgley Park from getting
a bonus point. As a result we are now top of the league with
games in hand. All that really matters is that we won at
Harrogate with a bonus point with the last play of the game. The
players reaction to the outcome was a true indication of what it
meant to them and the club. It could prove to be the pivotal
game of the season. Full credit to Harrogate who made it so
difficult for so long to achieve our ultimate aim, 5 league
points. Their tenacious play benighted their league position and
their set piece scrum dominated us on many occasions which is
something other teams we have played have been unable to do.
However full credit to our boys with how they defended and kept
Harrogate out and then managed to score at the death of a he
game

I think the pack has performed poorly on occasion compared with
the start of the season. It was pretty poor today.
I’m not sure what is the problem. We have difficulties
defending the maul and equal difficulty in scoring from one even
against the second bottom club.
Still 5 points and we rumble on
Not sure about the league position? Hull and Loughborough both
got stuffed

Must have looked at results before matches had finished as these
appear to be full time results

Another case of getting points when we didn't look like we
would. A good habit to have.
Conditions were awful underfoot. Where we were watching from at
pitch side, it was difficult to find any dry land. I was
starting to get seasick.
We dominated at first and looked sharp. As the weather closed
in, it got very difficult to do anything at all. Ref didn't help
- not a 'let the game flow' man for sure. Even when we were
going forward, he gave the decision to them.
So dark by full time, it was hard to see anything but a big
cheer at the end told us we had got the fifth point.
Not the most entertaining game ever, but we got the result. Well
done all.

It is a very good habit to have. Dug deep when things ,for some
reason, we're not going g to plan and came away with 5
I think Harrogate will move up the table.

If you read Page 1 you will see that Rucko realised his mistake
and corrected it.
