Much more enjoyable game than last week. Shame we didn't have
today's conditions down at Richmond; it might have been a
different game.
Was surprised at how well our set scrum held up when you looked
at the size difference between the packs. Great shift from Toby
again.
They were better than us for most of the first half - we came
back into it for the last few minutes.
In the second half, it was as if we suddenly switched on when we
went down to 14 men. Everyone looked eager for the ball and the
tackling was much more aggressive.
Wonder how many of these players we will keep next year?

I think the club seriously need to start looking at retaining a
good core of this squad for next year and, in my opinion treat
the rest of this season as pre season for Nat 1. After these
last two losses I don't see any chance of survival. If we had
beaten Blues and Mond then maybe we were in with a shout so lets
look to next year and an undefeated bounce back season. Sell it
to the boys that we go down, conquer nat 1 become a solid 'team'
working as a unit and come back to the championship on a 30 game
win streak and get back to where we belong as a solid,
competitive, difficult team in the 2nd tier of English rugby.
If we have another complete turn around of players then I fear
for our future.
Good on the lads for fighting to the bitter end! That's the Roth
spirit we have been looking for!

First half it was men against boys and we did not turn up. Their
pack were just bulling us. Then the second half we grew a pair
and were a different team. We deserved to come away from this
game with 4 points but the ref was not going to let that happen.
I thought the ref had a shocker and I think the touch judge on
the shed side in the second half agreed with that. As said by
another post, we are going down but if we can retain the bulk of
this side we could well bound straight back up.
COME ON YOU ROTH!!!!!!!!!!!

Think we can start offering and recruiting national 1 and if we
can keep a solid squad from this team we will be straight back
up
