       Fylde this weekend

Very much looking forward to this weekends clash against Fylde.
I am hopeful that we will keep our undefeated season going but
anticipate a close match. I was interested to read Harrogates
match report against them last weekend.
  HTML https://www.harrogaterugby.com/teams/10539/match-centre/1-9181633/report
It appears that Harrogate had to field an under strength team
due to injuries but on occasions managed to dominate the scrum.
This is a undoubtedly one of our strengths so I am hopeful we
will com out on top again. Another interesting fixture in our
league this weekend is Sedgley Park taking on Bournville. We
have played both teams and know they both have very dynamic
backs. If I was a betting man I think Sedgley will win but only
       by a small margin.

Apparently Harrogate had a weekend squad due to injuries and
unavailable players, on this showing if they had 20 players on
the the field, they would have lost.
Fylde showed some brilliant Backs Play, they moved at speed,
backed up the ball carrier and cut threw Harrogate as those they
       hadn't turned up.
Saturdays game should be a cracker and so no prediction from me
regarding the outcome. Our players must be up and in the faces
of Fylde as one missed tackle and they will be away. Having
said that, our players are getting better game on game and I'm
sure our Forwards are better than most ( all ) others in this
League. Our Backs are also getting stronger. Pass the ball if
a good pass is on, otherwise go to ground and recycle. Keep the
ball tight until a break is on, and no daft, cut out, long
       passes.
This will be the toughest test so far, and if successful, it
should give the Lads, and us, a massive boost.

I apologise for cutting into this post, but I appear to have a
touch of Covid brain and forgot how to create a new post. Can
       anyone help?

       Sounds like Fylde have a couple of props returning to action;
could explain why their pack was not on top last weekend?

       happened there???

Joe Carlisle and Lewis Allen out, Matt Smith and Tom Lewis
in. Otherwise the squad is the same as last week, that's
       hardly a Shake Up.
We shouldn't be talking about a First XV now, it's a team of 20
who are ALL first team players.
Have Joe and Lewis been Dropped, or are they Injured, or are
they unavailable for some other reason. All that matters is
that we have a 20 man squad for each game, a squad selected by
the coach's as the best available 20 for each particular game.
Regarding injuries, there's a page in the Programme where the
Doc gives an update on all Injured players.

I understand that selection is based on the best team on the day
but consistency of players to develop familiar plays and
communication is important too. Also Colin and Rikki have
swapped back again as Colin was 20 for last match. I think Joe
might be carrying a leg niggle as he was limping and subbed in
       last weeks game.

Also a shame that Donker is still out after his eye injury. Hope
he’s back on form too along with the others carrying injuries.
It’s always good to have more players to pick from to keep
       regulars honest
