Ended up 22-22. Sounds a brutal game but a decent result.

Sounds like a well matched game, it will be interesting to hear
       from people who were there.
When we went in frond 22 - 17 I thought that we might have moved
on and claimed the victory, but on Twitter it looked like we
had a loss of concentration to let their 9 in, but the Con was
       missed, so not overly punished.
Congratulations to the Lads, considering who we were playing,
and Away, this was a credible result.
Feeling excited already about next week, let's hope that the
Chocolate Boys melt under the heat we put on them.

We had so much possession second half I cannot understand why we
didn’t score more points. ( as per usual)
Their backs were very lively. Are they Sale players ?
So far to me it seems standard is pretty high in this division.
Really good afternoon. Worth the trip.

Supporter said " We had so much possession second half I cannot
understand why we didn't score more points ".
You need possession to score points, you might not score from
all the possession you have, but the more possession you have
the more chances you have to score.
I'm happy to read what Supporter put, lf we didn't have much
possession I wouldn't be so happy.
Having watched last week's game and following today's on
Twitter, I'm sure that as each game comes we'll get stronger,
gain more possession and score more points.
If we can show improvement game after game, then Win after Win
will follow. I wouldn't make a prediction this early in the
season as to which position we'll finish in.
       Oh chuff it I will
       ‐-‐--------------------------------------- Top Two.
Today Bournville 47 -- 20 Harrogate Good Win for
Bournville but Harrogate lost 21 -- 51 last week at Sedgley.
Should be another good game for us next week.

The game to me depended on whether we could starve their backs
of possession. On their gargantuan pitch every time they had
possession they looked like scoring, added to which they were
playing up the hill in the first half. Their first two tries
coming from very sloppy defence. Therefore I was mightily
relieved that when the teams turned round we were were only two
points adrift. In a the second half we were camped on their line
and instead of taking 3 points kept opting to try and get over
the line for the bigger prize of 5 or 7 points. If we had kept
the scoreboard ticking over, by taking 3 points, the result
could well have been different. The try we eventually scored,
was one of the best I have seen by a Rotherham team. Very good
off loading out of the tackle before eventually getting over the
line. I do think that in the return fixture we will have a
comfortable victory as their backs will have fewer opportunities
to dictate the game. Overall the team played better today than
last week despite a very slow start and lapses of concentration.
one area that I feel needs to be rectified before next week is
finding touch from penalties. On more than one occasions the
ball stayed on the pitch and they were able to counterattack. A
most enjoyable game but one that could have been won with more
concentration at vital times and using slightly different
       tactics

       Good evening the Mighty Roth.
It was great to see you guys after a such long time. Your
supporters made the game just that bit more special.
Just to answer an earlier question raised. Sedge do not use any
loan players anymore we stopped that some time ago. All the
players are either home grown or in a lot cases working with
local clubs giving talented players a pathway to another level
and maybe even further using us as a stepping stone.
Anyway sorry for intruding. Roth were very dominant second half.
We just could not get our hands on the ball. It was intense
       defending by Sedge.
Good luck to Roth this season I think it might be a good one.
       See you at Clifton Lane
       All the best

Your post was a good read, Thanks. Agree with you
regarding taking kicks at Goal, if points are on offer, Take
Them. If our Lads were winning by 20 pts then go for the
corners, but take the easy points first.

Just read on the Offy site that Joe Carlisle had a long range
Drop Kick attempt at Goal with just 3 mins to go. It went
narrowly wide of the left post. >:( :'(
