       Championship Next Year

       So according to Nigel Melville, in this weeks rugby paper,
       attempts to expand the championship to 14 teams for next season
       have stalled after the clubs failed to reach an agreement. The
       B&I cup has been scrapped and will be replaced with a new cup
       format just for championship clubs. There is a further meeting
       which is due to be held before December to verify these proposed
       changes including a possible expansion to 14 teams for the
       2019-20 season.
