Former player

Last week I was on a walking holiday in Exmoor. I met a man who
had played for Roth's first team during the period 1969-1976.
His name was Ian Reavill. He played on the wing. I did not start
supporting Roth until the early 90s so had no knowledge of his
playing history. I don't know if Roth keeps tabs on former
players but I have his e-mail address if there is any interest.

I remember Ian very well, he played on the opposite Wing to me.
He was a fast and nimble player. I have a Team Photo from 1971
- 72. Not much hair on the front of his head, just a small tuft
above his forehead, but I always remember him having a well
trimmed beard. Like most of us he's probably changed a bit now.
On that photo I had a mass of Jet Black Hair, now my hair as
waved goodbye. Looking back at photos brings back happy
memories, but they are tinged with sadness as quite a few of the
" Lads " are no longer with us. But memories of those past
halcyon days stay with us.

He’s not the former player you mentioned signing for us on the
other post winger ?
