AGAIN at the Club again this Afternoon. Graham (Chef) came
upto me and asked what I wanted to eat, he said " As you come
all the way from Leeds, I've come in just to make you your
Dinner, then I'm leaving to take my Son out for a Birthday
treat". I said I'll have the Bacon and Cheese Burger. Within
15 mins he came out of the Kitchen and said " I'd like you to
try this, and tell me what you think". It was a DOUBLE Bacon
and Cheese Burger with Chips and Onion Rings. It reminded me of
something you'd see on the TV Show 'Man Versus Food'. I'm
beginning to run out of compliment for this man's food. To come
in just to make me this meal really is one step beyond. After
eating it I gave it 15 out of 10.
He told me about the Food he'd like to bring in for this
season, don't worry the Pie, Chips and Peas will still be on.
Over the last 5 Saturdays my waist size has gone from 42" to 46"
but what the hell.

It may be a Round Ball Final but England are playing in it, so
I will be watching tonight and hoping for an England success.
To everyone going to the Club tonight to watch the game, I hope
you have an enjoyable evening and have plenty to cheer for.
The Buffet that Graham is putting on, although not a Mount
Everest Burger, sounds excellent, so eat, drink and above all,
put plenty of money into the Clubs Coffers, you know it makes
sense.

Hope you enjoyed your food Roger but I've been told the chef and
the bar manager have quit.

I was in the Club on Saturday and talking to Graham ( Chef ), I
told him that I didn't want any Chips or Onion Rings, just Fish
and Mushy Peas. He brought me out a plate with 3 pieces of
Fish on it, a dish of Mushy Peas and a dish of Tartar sauce.
Again I gave him £10 and was more than pleased to do so. I'm
sure the other people in the Club think that this is the only
food I have all day, but they would be wrong, I still have room
for a Cup of Coffee and a Custard Cream about half-past-six.
Graham told me that he would not be in next Saturday ( 24th) but
would see me the Saturday after. Nothing said about leaving.
If he does leave I will both miss him and his cooking. I've
been looking forwards to what he would be tempting us with on
Match Days.

Graham left a few weeks ago and I thought that I would miss
his Food offerings. Nick is now our new Chef. I've enjoyed
the Pie, Chips and Peas at our Two Home games and believe that
the portions are larger than the last season we played. What
would the Saturday food be like when there's no game on ?
I was in the Club this Afternoon ( Saturday) with my
Brother-in-Law, we had to sit in Harry's Bar as there was a
Wedding reception to be held in the Main Room.
I was asked if I wanted anything to eat, well being a Glutton I
said that I'd like a Bacon and Cheese Burger to see how it
compared to Graham's meals.
Well Nick certainly knows how to satisfy a huge appetite. Again
a Big Boys Burger, a large breadcake filled with Burger,
Cheese, Bacon and Salad, four large Onion Rings, lots of Chips
and a dish of Potato Salad.
My question was answered, Nick is another great addition to the
Clubs staff. It will be the Pie, Chips and Peas this coming
Saturday, the Saturday after what ever I have, will be another
Belly filler, HAPPY DAY'S.

Winger14, great to hear you had a good meal at the Club.
There has been four of us who have regularly been to the Club
for Fish & Chip Friday [now there are six of us] and have
thoroughly enjoyed the food. Empty plates every time!
The fish is perfectly cooked with a crisp batter and the home
made Tartar sauce is very tasty.
I do urge people to give it a try, I'm sure that you won't be
disappointed.
