Memories....

I was looking through some old photos yesterday, and also some
of the teams we 'should' be playing next season and these
brought great memories for me. Are you in there?

Thanks for those Steve - great memories and it was a glorious
day. Just hope the pictures of that bugle don’t encourage Sandy
to find where he stashed it!

Thanks for the memory Steve, 12 yrs ago and my hair is just the
same, Skin Coloured. I think that was one of the games where we
outnumbered the Home supporters.
I wonder how many of our supporters in those photographs will be
at the Lane when we resume playing ?. I WILL.

Was that the game where the Otley Prop lost it and started
swinging at supporters as he was sent off??
Think I remember a pint being thrown over him too?

Thats right Paul! He really lost his rag. He was spoiling for a
fight all game really and i think Stuart Corsar gave him one!
Great game that, potentially the last time we played Otley in
the league as they may have been relegated that year. Some great
players in that line up. Stuart Corsar, Kevin Maggs, Errie
Claasens!!

I think the prop grabbed a pint from a spectator and threw it at
him. A while ago though. Was that the Otley game where Spenner
scored a try but the ref was the other side of the maul and a
couple of Otley players dragged him back short of the line so it
wasn't given?
