Compere these to the amateur days --------- Phil Duke must have
played in around 700 games. I may be wrong, but I can't think
of another player who played in more games than Phil. Tony
Foster held a record in his playing days that will never be
beaten, he managed to Blag other players into buying him 1253
pints of Beer. I think that the last player he bought a Pint
for was ME on my 21st Birthday, mind you that was 1969.

I agree with a lot of what has been said and feel lucky to have
watched these players over the years.
Couple of names not mentioned who, for me were 'Top Titans' and
both went on to play Prem: Nick Lloyd - played for England
against the Barbarians: and Lee Blackett - still, I believe,
holds the record for the fastest Premiership try.
Chris Johnson played for the Barbarians as well, I think.

I agree with what you say about those players, but I opened this
thread to show who were the Top players in different categories,
ie Top Points Scorers, Top Try Scorers and Players who have
Played in the Most Games.
Posters have deviated from this but thats what you want on a
Forum. This Forum is Not just for Rugby, any subject that
starts a conversation is OK.

Thanks for pointing that out. I'd not added the Trys
scored in European Cup / Shield games. 8 for Umaga and 1 for
Dudley. I'd also missed 3 League Trys for Dudley.
