I think he means Ramirez Pez a good fly half who went on to play
for Italy.

Some amazing players.
Pez was very classy, shame he left us as we went up to the prem,
he would have been great in the 2003/2004 season. It didn't work
out too well at Leicester, he went from a sure start 10 to
barely playing if I remember correctly?
I am imagining a fantasy backline like the one below would have
been pretty unstoppable point scoring wise!! ;D

What about David Strettle on the wing and Gareth Steenson at fly
half.
Strettle played for us between 2002 and 2006. He scored a hat
trick on his Rotherham debut against Rugby Lions and made his
Premiership debut for the Titans against Bath in October 2003.
He was Rotherham's top try-scorer in National One in the 2004–05
season scoring 18 tries in 22 appearances. In total he made 43
appearances and scored 135 points.
Gareth Steenson was only with us for the 2006 / 2007 season,
made 30 appearances but managed to amass 264 points. He then
went to Plymouth for a season before moving to Exter where he
played from 2008 to 2020 during his time there he scored a
phenomenal 2531 points.

Strettle was deadly for us as was Steenson. When you saw them
play you just knew they were destined for the top end of the
game, complete class!
If I remember correctly Gareth scored a penalty or conversion
right out on the wing in the last play of the game to beat Leeds
at the Lane. There must have been somewhere between 2000 to 2500
fans packed in. It is still one of my favourite memories of
Roth, me and my dad walking back to the car, everyone still
chanting 'ROTHERHAM' from their cars and as they walked home
amazing!! The atmosphere was like nothing else.
We produced some awesome players in that era
