Ex Roth players in the Premiership

What a brilliant, entertaining game of rugby tonight with Bath v
Wasps. Two tries for Tom Cruse, playing like a back, not a
hooker, and a lovely off-load to set up one try for Paolo
Odogwu, who then grabbed a second as well. Huge smile on his
face, just like he had when he was with us briefly at Clifton
Lane. Both guys up for MoM and it went to Odogwu.
If you get chance just to see the highlights on free tv, it’s
well worth a watch.
Tomorrow Seb Nagle-Taylor gets another chance to impress for
Gloucester.
Bits of brightness in a pretty awful week. Thanks Lee Blackett -
that was fun.

Certainly agree there Lindsay, excellent game to watch. Cruse
was all over the field, he must have run a marathon. Odogwu is
so strong, add that to his speed and his tackling and you have
the perfect Winger / Centre.
There was a total of 53 pts scored in the first half and 43 pts
in the second half. We will not see many games with 11 tries
and 96 pts scored.

The most entertaining game of rugby I have seen for a very long
time. Played without the usual kicking game by both teams with
an unusual number of open play tries. Glad to see that Eddie
Jones was there scouting for England players. I wish more games
in the Premiership were played in this manner but knowing that
league positions are vital for survival other tactics are
deployed.

Seb Nagle-Taylor played the last 10 mins of Gloucester's game
yesterday. Don't know if it was just me, but I thought he
looked overweight and quite slow around the field.
I don't know how much game time he's had, but he didn't look
like the Power-Pack that we saw at the Lane.

Its obvious Gloucester's training regime isn't as effective as

Paolo Odogwu has been called up into the England Squad of 28 for
the Six Nations Championship. Good luck to him.
There's only 12 Backs in the Squad and 10 are required for each
game squad so theres an excellent chance that he had will be on
the field at some time.
He's Fast, Powerful and a good Tackler. Theres a possibility of
him getting at least 2 or 3 Caps.
He has just signed a new contract with Wasps and is currently
their Top Try Scorer with 6 in 8 games.
