In the Club this Afternoon I spent about an hour talking with
Martin. Players retained from last season, Old players
returning and New players coming in. Listening to him speak
about the coming season and the work put in to put our squad
together certainly shows where is Heart is. What he told me was
both informative and enlightening.
Trying to put a good squad together is not always Plain Sailing
and shows what a tremendous job Martin and Salvo are doing.
I've learned the names of many more of our squad and feel really
confident for the coming season.
Names will be released by the Club over the next few weeks and
so try and contain your excitement, there will be a surprise or
two.

Only one new name, but it’s a good one ! Theo Nwosu-Hope, a
player who has played in Australia both Rugby Union and League
6’ 5” second row, or back row.
Only other names mentioned were confirmation of Smith and
Challinor.

When I heard about him last week I thought he is just what we
need, Young, Strong, Tall and Fit. However good a Rugby player
he is now, I'll guarantee that he'll be better after Training
and Playing alongside of Chall and Smithy. An excellent
addition to the squad.
I hope he's got a sense of humour
Fact 1 When he was One year old he Won a Beautiful Baby
Competition, to which he has said, to this day it's still his
proudest moment.
Fact 2 Four years ago, while studying Mechanical Engineering,
he Won a competition to find Glasgow's most Eligible Bachelor.
Fact 3 He is the Brother of Victoria (Vick) Hope, the well
known TV and RADIO presenter. She has been on, and presented,
lots of shows on TV and Radio. Last year she
Hosted the BAFTA Film Awards.
Fact 4 If he can get his Sister to come along to one of our
Home games and lead the team out before kick-off, it would
probably Double our Gate. She's a Beautiful Lady.
