If any of you haven't done so already, then please log onto the
Offy Site, click News. Open highlights of Roth V Pirates.
There's lots of highlights of different games, watch them all,
excellent to watch our players of the past and the style of
Rugby they played.
Will bring a smile to your faces, in particular the thrashing
of Ealing where we scored 79 pts.

22 Away Win at Jersey. 2013 - 14

Pirates v Titans 11 April 2014 This was the Win
that put us into the Play - Off's.
After being behind at h / t 20 - 7 a rousing 2nd half
with us scoring 33 unanswered points gave us a fantastic 20 -
40 Win.
We scored 6 tries and 5 cons, all by our Backs. Lee
Blackett's lads at their best.

Away to Ealing 26 April 2014
This was the last regular season game before Rotherham would go
on to play Bristol in a two-legged semi-finalfor a potential
place place in the Premiership.
Rotherham held a 29 - 3 advantage early in the second half
before Ealing mounted a stunning fightback, however Rotherham
held on to run out 36 - 29 winners.
This result coupled with Jersey's away win at Bedford on the
same afternoon meant that Ealing were relegated from the
Championship.
How times have changed for Ealing.

Latest highlights to watch.
2013 / 14 May 10th S/F 1st Leg of the Play-Off's Away to
Bristol Looking at the team that day, it makes you think
that we have had some Bloody good players at our Club.
In the first half we went into a 9 - 0 lead, with three penalty
kicks from Socino, including 1 from the centre spot and 1 from a
yard inside our own half.
In the second half Bristol went into a 17 - 9 lead. With little
time left Roth moved the ball forward, the ball went to ground,
Jamie Broadley kicked the ball forward and chased after it, has
it bounced over the try line he launced himself forward and
touched the ball down. The Ref didn't give it but went to the
Screen, after watching it a couple of times he awarded the Try.
Sadly Socino was just wide with the Conversion attempt. The
game finished 17 - 14.
A week later in the 2nd Leg at Abbeydale, we Lost 11 - 22.
In April of that Season we played Away against Bristol in the
Q/F of the B+I Cup, we lost that game 24 - 39. We must have
learned something in that game as our next two games against
them were closer.

More great highlights to watch. Bedford 15 v 42 Titans.
Try fest from Roth with eight trys scored with surprisingly only
one conversion kicked.
Six good trys from our Backs and Two from Tom Cruse, conversion
by Barrett.
Again well worth watching.

Latest highlights from Season 2014 / 2015. Doncaster 21 - 23
Rotherham
Roth's first Try came from a great break by Lloyd Hayes,
powerful run and a brilliant pass to Michael Keating to score
under the posts. Second Try from Michael Keating again.
Doncaster were passing the ball through the Backs, their 12
threw a long pass, but Keating ran between their two centres and
managed to kick the ball forwards, he chased after it and kicked
on again, he managed to then pick it up and was tackled as he
dived under the posts.
It was close to the end and 21 -20. McKinney closed the game
out with a long range Penalty Kick.
