Ex + Future Titans

Ex Titans Colin Quigley, Curtis Wilson, Jack Roberts, Lloyd
Hayes, Rory Pitman, Tom Calladine and Tom Hicks have all left
Doncaster for this season.
Wilson to Nottingham and Roberts to Jersey have stayed in the
Championship.
Bomber Hislop has also left, on a short term loan to Saracens.

With Matthew Hills, Doncaster captain for 6 years, announced as
a Rotherham player next season, I wonder if any other players
leaving Doncaster might be playing for us next season.

His name is Michael. Calladine has gone to other Club ( sad ),
would have loved to have seen him back at the Lane. Hayes,
Pitman and Hicks don't know where they have gone but any of them
would do for us on the team sheet. I thought that Quigley had
gone to Darlington, but not according to Darlington. Love to see
him back with us.
Doncaster have been recruiting like there's no tomorrow, with a
lot less money coming in from the RFU they've still been
bringing in good quality players who will undoubtedly be on a
good salery.
Every Club has to do its best and try to improve Year on Year,
and of course satisfy and entertain their Paying Supporters, but
the best any Club in the Championship this season can hope to
achieve is finishing in 2nd place, which will still be a very
good achievement, but with what's gone on in the World this
year and the uncertainty of when Rugby will commence and how
many games we will play, it could be a wasted season for ever
Club below the Premiership.
Saracens will / should go up and possibly no Club comes down.
With the Current state of the RFU's finances they have been
cutting funding from all area's of the Union except the
Premiership. This may well be the last season of Pro / Rel
between the Prem / Champ. I know its been talked about for a
long time , but with the RFU having a shortfall of £107,000,000
there will have to be a lot of far reaching decisions made.
Anyway that's enough of the Glass Half Empty scenario, let us
look forward to at least some Rugby in the not to distant
future.
It's going to be a funny old season but with our Club we will
make the best of the situation as we move forwards.
Our squad is now being unveiled to us and like you I look
forward to each name being released. Once our Team finally
takes to the field and hears our Roars from the side lines, it
will be Game-On. We'll just have to make sure that there's
enough of us there to make a Roar, and not a Whimper. Long
Live Us And Our Club.
Time to get the Bottle out now and put my feet up.

From a source I have Quigley was spotted in Meadowhall wearing a
Rotherham Titan face mask which was posted on Facebook. Not sure
how reliable his spot was.

If this is true it could be a great signing for Roth, Quigs was
more than holding his own at scrum time in the covid shortened
season.

Quigs would be a great signing for us, a great "Father Figure"
to the rest of the squad, and he would certainly lead by
example.
If it was him seen wearing the Titans Mask it would be a good
sign.
I've never been one for Praying, but if we all put our hands
together and offer up a passionate plea it could do the trick.
