Just the signing we need. Colin has been playing in the
Championship for many years and could probably still play there.
Highly experienced and a Master of the "Dark Arts of the Front
Row". Our young Forwards will learn a lot from him.

For. a long time I have thought that what our club needed was
some older more experienced heads to see games out and help our
younger players. With the 2 player joining us from Doncaster the
club now has totally achieved this, and MORE. Let’s hope it does
the trick. I remember going down to Ampthill a couple of years
ago and seeing their front row including Lutui Aleki, Tonga’uiha
Soane and Pupuma Luvuyo completely influence the game and win it
for them. Colin has also relinquished his coaching roll at
Dronfield so I can imagine him wanting to continue with what he
did as a player, coach roll with us. I totally agree with Winger
14 post.
Were any other new players revealed last night and what did
Salvo have to say.

The other player who should have been announced had some family
issues which meant we save him until another day. Salvo said
lots about how he wants the club to retain players for longer, a
balance of older heads and younger talent. He also said that
there were more surprises to come, not just Quigs. He also
confirmed that the squad should be sorted within the next couple
of weeks, that training on Tuesday showed that the boys who
could make it we’re in good nick and hopefully we may see rugby
start before Christmas. There will be a video interview up on
the website next week from Salvo, also one from Quigs.
Anyone else there who heard more than I can remember, feel free
to add!

Good question Jim with what's happening with the virus I can't
see it being any time soon unfortunately.
