I wish I had a £5 note for every time I've watched that over the
years. I'd be able to have Artificial Grass laid in my back
garden, it's 364 sq yds. Does anyone know how much it costs
to have that laid, I'd guess at quite a few thousand pounds.

I was standing on the terrace opposite the stand so could not
see clearly whether it was going through the posts. But the
sound was a giveaway: it started with the Donny supporters in
the stand cheering, and then turned to a strangled groan - and
you knew The Lawman had done it.
Excellent.
Anyone got footage of Mike Schmid's dive try down at the
Memorial Stadium?

That’s very, very specific Winger ! what size is that in today’s
currency ?

It's 309m sq and at a median price of £14.87 per metre would
cost 4,594.83 + VAT TO do 😁😁

Thanks for that Duncang, I asked out of curiosity as my Wife
asked me how much it would cost. I'll stick with the stuff

What a game, what a day and what a team! Me and my dad have been
looking back at some old programs. It really reminds you about
the ammount of cracking players who have played for us over the
years!

I spoke to Garry about that kick, he said that as soon has he
kicked the ball, allowing for the wind, he knew that it was
going wide. Then the cross wind took over, gave the ball a
Jeremy Guscott side-step, and over it went.
The looks on the Donny players faces was one of sheer
bewilderment. For a couple of seconds it looked like Bester
couldn't quite take it in, Then off he went doing an Irish Jig
down the touchline.
Many memories over the years, but this is certainly one of best.
