Players staying, maybe a couple ? of old boys, new players
coming in, just be patient "it always comes to him that
waits". The players names will be given out and we will have a
squad before the season starts, what more do we want.
The end of last season wasn't what we wanted and the beginning
of this season will be unusual compered to what we've been used
to. But we will have a season, we will have a squad battling
away for us each week, and "WE WILL BE THERE WATCHING THEM DO
IT".
There will be some good Beer, There will be some good Food,
There will be some excellent Chat among Friends, and Tony
Foster will be there for me to take the Mickey out of, so NO
despondency, lets look forwards to whatever this season brings
and hope that the final end of season Club Report includes the
words SUCCESS and PROMOTION.
If those words are not there, then we start to look forwards to
the beginning of season 2021 / 2022. It's the Magic
Roundabout, and lots of us have been on it for Many, Many, Many
years, it's too late to get of now, until St Peter calls us,
and then sadly we'll have no option.
All I'll hope for then is that they play Rugby up there. Oh,
and they sell JAMESONS.
In the Rugby Paper it was Barney Maddison's turn to select the
team made up of the best players he's played with or against
In Barneys team he has 10 players who have played for the
Titans. He's certainly one of the Best we've had at the Lane,
EVER.

It would be good if Barney, wanted to return to his roots and
play for us again. I also notice that Colin Quigley has not been
retained by Doncaster and he has stopped coaching at Dronfield.
Might he still want a roll with us?

It’s all going well but if you listen to Martin’s speech from
last Friday you’ll understand why we can’t announce some of them
yet.

Tom Bacon goes on season long loan from Wasps to Donny also on
rolling maul Morgan Bunting has signed for Hull thats 2 more
decent players gone

Wonder why Morgan left. I thought he had a lot of potential and
would have been better Championship bound to be able to develop
with partial game time building.

Let’s hope that he knew who has been signed by the club in his
chosen position and that he wouldn’t get much game time with
us. At the first revealing of players Martin Jenkinson said that
we had more mature / experienced players in key positions. To me
that means half backs and front and back row. Let’s just see
what happens.
