       Why Do It

Ealing have told the RFU that if they automatically promote
Newcastle, they will take Legal Advice, saying that if the
season had been completed, they had a chance of overtaking
Newcastle. When the season was brought to a end, Newcastle
were 18pts clear at the top of the table. If they do take any
action against the RFU ( We don't know the RFU's decision yet)
they would lose and it would cost them Thousands of Pounds in
costs. If they could get promoted, it would cost them a Fortune
to sign new players and they would be slaughtered ever game,
       then relegated, beaten and broken.
Why would they EVEN consider such action and probably make a
       laughing stock of themselves.
BATH players have said that they will take action against the
Club if they deduct 25% of their Saleries, stating breach of
       contract.
I haven't heard of any other Clubs players taking this action.
Apparently employees of the RFU, including Eddie Jones, have
agreed to take cuts in excess of 25%. Perhaps they think that
they are above the Hundreds of Thousands of people in the land
who will be losing money. Some people will be losing their Jobs
       permanently.
To me this doesn't put Ealing or the Bath players in a good
light, if they do carry out these threats it could damage them
       permanently
Since posting the above, I've read an article that says that
Leicester and Newcastle players are considering to refuse to
take a drop in their Salaries. Poor Form..

Saw an tweet from club captain of bath to say that the squad
have not said they would refuse a 25% pay cut. Don't know is
this is just to fill papers or not.

Well the obvious answer is that they should be furloughed ,as
they are not working and would be entitled up to 80% of their
wages up to £2,500 and that would probably equate to about 10%
       of their normal salaries.
Some people are never happy and greed is not a great quality !

Lewis Theide set to rejoin Ealing from Bristol. Are they
       recruiting just in case?

It is all one big mess it seems. I cannot see a non
controversial solution but will be happy to be wrong.

There's more chance of me winning the 100 metres Sprint at the
next Olympics, than Ealing surviving in the Premiership.
I very much doubt that they will get into the Premiership,
EVER. If they do take Court action, it will just be an
expensive case of Sticking their Chest out and ineffective
       Posturing.
