Sarries definitely down according to BBC, but no news on other
leagues.

There can only be ONE logical outcome ! that teams in the
relegation and promotion positions maintain their movement both
ways ! There might be some teams that have played fewer games
than others and these games should be given 2 points each in my
opinion !
So unfortunately Rotherham Titans are relegated ! all clubs
will need assistance from the RFU to help them survive due to a
considerable loss in gate money whilst still having to pay
their staff, rent etc.

The issue with that Whiterhino is that we would have been
replaced by the winner of a playoff between 2nd in Nat 2 North
and 2nd in Nat 2 South, given that game hasn't happened what are
you suggesting happens?

I could be wrong here so apologies if I am .
Nat 2 north Caldy up
Nat 2 south Taunton up as they are currently top
No play off for third place being played as league finished
should mean only two down in my eyes

That option makes the most sense to me, hoping the RFU don't
have other ideas.

That does seem logical and fairest conclusion, even viewing it
through the rosiest tinted maroon & blue glasses.... You aren't
taking away a guaranteed promotion slot from the sides finishing
2nd, they unfortunately lost out on the opportunity to playoff
for the spot or even play out the season to clinch 2nd, the same
way we lost out on the opportunity to play our way out of the
bottom 3.
Taunton would be the main beneficiaries, as Nat 2 South was
anything but over, albeit they had quite a straightforward run
in.
Caldy had already won promotion from 2 North and Canterbury &
Ionians were down.

The RFU need to make decisions Now. There will be no more Rugby
this season and Players will be staying away from their Clubs.
Clubs need to be recruiting now for next season, before current
Contracts expire. Clubs need to know what League they will be
playing in ASAP.
For us to recruit current players, they need to know what
League we will be playing in before they make a decision.
I may be wrong, but I believe that Div 2N and Div 2S are the
only two leagues that have a play-Off for a 3rd promotion place.
Has I said on another thread and some of you have said on here,
No play-Off game, No promotion place.
Surely there can be no other decision than we stay in Division
One.
