Honestly, I think that might be it. We really needed to win last
week and this week. Unfortunately I now don't see us winning
more than 2 games this year. Despite last weeks improved
performance I now think we might just not be good enough man for
man. We are not playing well and nothing seems to be making a
difference. Real shame.
We had a chance of survival and for me that started with beating
Plymouth, Cambridge, Moseley on the bounce. We loose next week
and we are done. We can't beat the bottom placed teams then how
are we going to now beat the higher placed sides. I really don't
know what is happening with Rotherham. I think we are destined
for the drop and to find our natural level. I thought we were
going to be comfortable and competitive in nat 1.

Moseley were stuffing Cinderford a few minutes ago so that’s
probably that.
I don’t blame the owners for lack of investment. They’ve done us
proud over the years. However I think the glory years are over.
Huge shame.

With Moseley beating Cinderford and getting 5 points that puts
us 11 points shy of safety. Last week we should have won and it
looks like this week we should have won. Those 6 points are the
difference between being within striking distance with a win
next week or still adrift. So we have to have 5 next week so
that we reduce to 6 adrift and then hope we can get 2 wins more
than Moseley in the remainder of the season. My heart is saying
we can do this however my head is now saying it is really touch
and go now.
Moseley have some tough fixtures left to play as do we however
they finish the season with Hull who are down. We don't want to
be going into the last week requiring some form of result from
Hull.
On paper I think we have the better of the remaining fixtures,
trouble is we have only won one in the last 11 games which was
Cambridge. who I think were disappointed to lose by 1 point. In
reality I think we need to be thinking about keeping the core of
the team that will have the ambition to get us out of National 2
straight away next season.
What does everyone else think. I did think after last week we
would have won today.

Breaking the losing habit is so hard.
I think Blackett is the key to our future and how much time he
can give us.

We didn’t help ourselves by gifting them two early scores.
However, full credit to the team for clawing their way back and
getting into a winning position. I hoped the last play of the
match would see them over the line but alas it was not to be. I
thought we looked the better team today dominating the scrum and
line outs however, once again when we got to within 5 meters of
their line we were unable to execute. I hope that next week
will bring a much needed victory.

Let’s keep believing. Last 2 weeks performances have been a lot
better. We gifted them 3 if not 4 tries. Let’s get every
supporter there next week cheering the boys on. They are working
hard and giving there all. 5 points next week can give us all a
boost

That's what I like to read, POSITIVITY. Last week and
yesterday showed what the Lads can do, let's hope that they can
keep on improving game after game. Cambridge had Won their
last three games, but after going two tries down in the first
Ten minutes, our Lads pulled the game around and towards the end
of the game were just 5 mins away from a Winning result. In the
last few minutes they were pressing for the Winning score. I
would say that this was a commendable effort.
After eight consecutive Losses, Moseley finally decided to put
in a Winning performance ( Sod It ), and pick up 5pts.
Though all is not lost, it means a Win next Saturday is
vital, it would leave us 6 or 7 pts adrift with 11 games to
play.
Cliffie Hodgson ( Moseley 10 ) kicked 6 out of 7 attempts at
goal, scoring 15 pts, we'll have to watch our Penalty count in
our own half. Strange? , Moseleys last try was scored in
the 66th min, but the Con did not go over until the 75th min.
Unless the RP has got it wrong, I wonder what happened it the
missing minutes.
We now have 7 Home games and 5 Away, We HAVE to take advantage
of these Home games.

100% Winger. 5 home wins and 1 or 2 away and I think we maybe
ok. Bonus points are important though

No disrespect but 4th tier Rugby beckons.
The sooner we face up to that, the better!
