Not sure what happened there .
I agree the 1st half was very good and showed signs of
something good to come from these players . As for the 2nd half
I don’t believe it was rubbish we scored and I think If we had 5
minutes more we would have won .
Yes the lads switched off for 20 minutes but that’s 20 minutes
from 80 not like the sale game we was bad for 80 so if should be
easy for the coaching staff to track back on the recording to
see what happened in those 20 minutes and put that right in
training.
Moseley will be feeling the pressure now the gap has been
reduced to 7 points so a win at Cambridge is certainly
achievable let’s stay positive.

Other points other than the actual game it's not good with no PA
system. This was the same at the previous home game. As a coffee
drinker it took 15 mins to get a coffee in the end Lyndsey came
and served was totally ignored by bar staff

Malc, the club is very poorly managed in all areas, some of the
weaknesses are below basic. Communication from the club is also
dire, according to the Rugby Paper Steve Salvin is now helping
with the coaching. However, the club didn’t think that informing
the supporters via twitter or the web site was worth making the
effort to do. It’s so bad, it’s almost unbelievable.

Yes service and communication is an issue. No pie left before
the game had to go backat half time - but it was worth it. With
regard to coaching - said hello to Lee and then realised he was
on the Gantry . Was told that Salvo is coaching the forwards and
Lee is acting in a consultancy capacity. The potential for those
two to make a huge difference is clear. I hope there is enough
time left and I think there is. What I would say is on the one
hand there was a statement saying there would not be a new coach
appointed. I can only assume that at that stage they didn't know
if Steve and Lee would be helping out. I wondered why there has
been no pitchside announcements, I assume the system is down.

Just maybe Lee and Steve are helping unofficially so they want
it kept Q.
It’s a magnificent gesture by them!

Seemed to be quite clearly known yesterday amongst several
people I spoke to. Lee was clearly visible on the Gantry. So I
am not sure about the QT or not but I am pleased they are here.
Play yesterday was 80% where we need to be it was just that the
other 20% cost us dearly. Over the full 80 I would still
maintain we were the better team and snatched defeat from the
jaws of victory so that was encouraging. It is the time factor
now as we need to gain points on Moseley quickly as they are
realistically the only team we can catch, but they are the only
team we need to catch. We could do with 9 from the next two
games. Next week Moseley are at home to Cinderford and although
I fancy Cinderford, they are a team Moseley could beat. We go to
cambridge and need a win. Then it it perhaps one of the biggest
games of the season the week after. So looking at the
combinations of results.
1. Moseley win and we win the gap will remain at 7 ish points.
We beat Moseley the week after and the gap will be 3 to 4 points
- everything to play for,
2. Moseley Lose and we win. Gap reduces to 3 ish points. We beat
Moseley the week after and we ar in the treasured 4th from
bottom spot and back in the driving seat.
3. There are other combinations but the worst case scenario in
Moseley win next week, we lose, 11 point gap. If Moseley then
beat us it will be a 15 point gap and I think Division 2 will
then beckon. That will not be all doom and gloom, if we can keep
the bulk of this team then win Div 2 and start to re-build.
I am hopeful for scenario 2.

I went into the club house at half time for a tea and they were
just refilling the tea ern I missed the first 16 minutes of the
second half waiting for a drink I then went to get some chips to
find they had run out, I find the club house is like faulty
towers most of the time constantly running out of something I
was in the hospitality game for years and I look at the club
house and I know it could be a asset if run better.
Rant over but the game shows theres signs of hope its the first
time ive seen this team scoring tries like that all season it
was almost like watching last years team.
My son was training on Thursday evening on the pitches where the
Titans train and there was a buzz about them they were enjoying
training you could tell by the noise they was making.

My thought were that we did not play the same tactic that we
were playing the first half. i.e. we only played rugby in their
half. we put big high kicks when we were in our 22 and played
with ball in hand in their half. Second half we tried to play
out of our 22. Do not know if that was down to the wind but
wrong tactics second half cost us the game.

The game was lost and that is now in the Record Books.
Whatever is said about that 'BAD' 20 mins spell in the
second-half, that game was has closely fought over the 80 mins
as any game could be. Plymouth scored 4 Tries in that 20 mins,
first 2 through good play. Roth won the ball from a Ruck and
Conor Devor kicked it into the air, instead of going ' yards '
forward, it went straight up in the air, it came down and nobody
got their hands on it, it hit the ground and bounced up and
towards our line. Shea Cornish (Plymouth) who was running
forwards, ran through the melee of players, caught the ball on
its way down and ran in under the Posts unopposed, good catch
and run, but scored from a fair amount of good fortune, 3rd
try scored. Their 4th Try looked good to me, but in today's RP
the reporter wrote, " Flanker George Mills appeared to drop the
ball but was still awarded his Try ". Have to watch carefully
when the game is shown in the Clubhouse on Tuesday night.
The 2 Tries we threw away, when our players decided to try to
run through the last defender, instead of passing to their
team-mates who had a clear run to the line, were unbelievably
bad decisions.
If these tries had been scored and Plymouths disallowed, then
the scoreline could have been ------- 46 - 31
I know this is all conjecture, but it shows how small margins of
error can greatly alter a games outcome.
Moseley have now lost 8 consecutive games, so are certainly in a
leaking ship, just the same has us. So it's now a race to see
who can plug the holes the quickest and with the better
materials. That will be the Ship that safely reaches the
Harbour.
A good crew who pull together is essential in this task, and if
successful we can all get together in the Clubhouse and '
Splice the Mainbrace '. Instead of Rum, mine will be a Treble
Jamesons, minus the Water of course.

Yesterday was disappointing as we should have won the game. I
tried to go into the game with no preconceived ideas and to just
to see what happens. At half time I was hopeful. We performed
pretty well, the half back pairing controlled the first half
very well. Hollingsworth's tactical kicking was beautiful, we
were in control. The second half we dropped into our old habits
and let in soft tries.
I feel if we played this game in a few weeks we would have won
comfortably. It gives me hope for the rest of the season however
loosing to Plymouth means now we are going to have to beat a
stronger side to make up for that loss.
Brilliant to see Lee and Salvo back involved. Just what we need
if we are going to survive.
All is not lost but there is a long way to go.
