Leeds Update

Head Coach / DOR Martin Wood as left the Club (sacked ?).
The word is that Phil Davies has returned to lead the Club, hope
he's been paid up front. I wonder if Martin Wood has been paid
up in full, or got 15p in the pound.
There's an article in the Yorkshire Post, I haven't read it, but
you can bet they are talking about a better future.
I wonder if Phil Davies will be bringing in a few Ringers to
bolster the squad. I bet there's a cunning plan afoot, with
the RFU lurking in the shadows somewhere. On the way, New
Coach, New Name, New Money, the Scottish Yorkshire Man back =
another absolute load of Round Objects.
If the RFU had any Bottle, they'd send Leeds down to Yorkshire
Division 4 ( Level 10 ), any tell them to get the Club in order
and Battle their way back up the League's, or not.
If the RFU do ANYTHING else to help them, above what they've
done to help any other Club in a similar position, I predict a
Riot of outrage.

Lost today, Again. Pirates 52 - 0 Leeds. I would love to
know just how much Tom Varndell and Joe Ford are being paid
amongst all this shambling effort this season. Neither of
these two " Superstars " have made any difference so far, and
Leeds could have signed two players from Yorkshire Four for a
Hell of a lot less money, and for the same results. I wonder
what the Shareholders, if there's any left, are making of this
Shambollic season.
If the RFU offer ANY assistance to the Club the end of this
season, then every Club in England should put in a Vote of NO
CONFIDENCE in them.
Looking at Leeds squad for this game, there's quite a few names
I don't recognize, If they are players brought in to strengthen
the squad, then I'm sure that Men in White Coats will soon be
arriving at Headingley to take away the Board members for "
Specialist Treatment ".
I've contacted Leeds to offer them the Loan of my Dog, he
should fit in well there, he's very good at aimlessly chasing
a Ball round a field, then not knowing what to do with it when
he's caught it.
Best of luck to them for the rest of the season, I'm confident
that they can double their Points total before it's over.

It seems that Sarries who pay their players and staff are fined
millions of pounds docked35 pointsand finally relegated whilst
Leeds who knowingly spent money they knew they didn't have get
away with no sanctions what so ever in fact received half a
million pounds from the RFU to me that just doesn't seem right.

Considering that they were playing Newcastle, this is probably
their best result of the season.
Mind you, Newcastle did send their U16 squad.

I understand that these players have already managed to get to
the French coast, in the back of a Lorry. In a couple of days
they will be attempting to get across the Channel in a Bath, as
Leeds couldn't afford a Dingy, They will then travel up North
on some Four Legged transport borrowed from the local Leeds
Donkey Sanctuary.
Leeds have offered them a very good contract, stating that they
will pay each of them £1,000,000 as soon as the Club reaches the
Top of the Premiership. They will be playing part time Rugby,
and for a job they will be picking up leaves in Roundhay Park.
Leeds have applied to the local Food Bank for help in feeding
these new players, they know that the food will be good has
that is where the Board get their food from for their annual end
of season Banquet.
The Club are hoping to attract more sponsorship money so that
they can provide the new players with somewhere decent to lodge,
until then they will all be sharing a Mattress on the cellar
floor of the Pub across the road.

If they was 100% honest about what was happening at the club
last season and to the players about their future then maybe the
ship wouldn’t be sinking as quick .
