Not really sure what to think now. Over half way, played
everybody and we are going backwards rather than progressing. No
coach it seems on a Saturday. It is hard to see next steps,
maybe its the cash factor and clubs at this level have more of
it than us now - I don;t know, but it is very tough at the
moment with teams generally beating us very comfortably.

Utterly depressing. Sale were one of the worst clubs I saw last
season and we beat them easily earlier this season. I don’t
think there’s a solution. Perhaps change in coaching and get A
few DRs in. However I fear we’re beyond that.

I have to agree with supporter. I have only seen a handful of
games this season, if I'm being honest when there are other
options on the table on a Saturday I find it hard to drum up the
enthusiasm to turn them down for 2hrs watching the team in such
a downhill spiral. I know some will say that it's times like
this when the team needs supporters to get behind them, but it's
not like it's a cheap option these days and I feel that there
are now many like myself, that if there's nothing else to do
then they will still go and watch the games, but if it's at the
expense of another pastime then maybe not. It's very sad to see
the team that we all loved seeing in the Premiership (even when
getting tanked), and purred over in the Championship play-offs
and the regular pushing at the top end. And now, I really don't
see anything other than yet another relegation. I don't blame
the owners, they have put their money where most of us don't,
but we just can't compete any more :'(

Excellent post from Steve Bott unfortunately I was with him
today to witness yet another embarrassing defeat!
I think we are wasting our time to discuss the ‘why’s’ and
‘wherefores’ about what has happened to our club. The harsh
truth is that we have been punching well above our weight for
the last 25 years.
Despite many people’s best efforts we have been unable build on
our on field success off the field. A stable coaching structure
as been beyond us as has player retention. Our position of
being a ‘shop window’ club was a double edged sword. Allowing
us to attract some fantastic young talent only to see it poached
by other more financial secure clubs. Our woeful facilities
becoming more apparent as we visit other clubs who have never
reached our heights.
I can’t see how 4th tier Rugby can be now avoided with the
subsequent loss in revenue. Very sad times in deed....

These players have the ability and their previous clubs justify
it . You only need to look back to last season and you can see
how we did . What ever the reason it is that Posa has gone we
need to rebuild the confidence levels because they have been
drained , We do need a replacement coach because of smithy still
playing which doesn’t help not being around but it worked last
season .
Again for what ever the reason is we haven’t started the
strongest squad but that isn’t the players fault . I saw players
leaving the pitch yesterday with tears in their eyes of course
they are frustrated even more than us but we need to stick by
them and continue to give them the support they desperately need
at this present time to get out of this rut . Things will change
but it’s not going to happen over night the damage is already
done but it’s about how we rebuild for the 2nd half of the
season .
We certainly need to play with more urgency because when we did
we made sale look average which they are we carried the ball
instead of kicking it away the more phases we went through the
confidence came back but we got dragged into a mud fight and we
panicked yesterday the style of play we are playing with these
players doesn’t work so needs to be changed .
Maybe a week off will help the players and need heal a few
niggles
It’s not over till the fat lady sings and we can still get out
the poo

Very interesting point 'At the back'. It is not over yet as this
season is all about 4th from bottom now. However it is
increasingly looking like us or Moseley for that position.
Consequently we need some points now and we have to prove
ourselves beyond the 'what could be if we were'... scenarios. We
have to start winning and it now seems we need a coach to help
us do that. I wonder who we could get - As I said before. Phone
call to Bester time.

Some great posts with good perspective. I have been critcal of
the coaching and that is the nature of sports. As fans who pay
money to watch our team we have the right to do that however I
do wish Anthony Posa the best. At the start of the season it
looked promising but for whatever reason it hasnt worked out. Im
sure he will find a new club and be succseful as many of our ex
coaches have been.
Real shame that result yestersay but it is done now and it is
now onto next week. I know nobody at the club wants to be in
this position but we are and something had to give before it was
too late. Unfortunately I can't see us avoiding relegation now
but it is possible. Maybe with a new coach will rejuvenate the
lads, maybe it won't.
Gutted to hear about the lads being upset but it does show they
care about the club and the results so there is still passion
there. We just need to find some form.
The lads need a break now. Hopefully the new year will bring new
positive results.
