Other Backs at the Club ------- Tom Bullough, Sam
Hollingsworth, Dan Leake, Tom Williams, George Castledine,
Tom Bacon.
Are all of these injured, or in Tom Bacon's case, unavailable.
George Castledine, if fit, would be ideal, he's a Stand-Off /
Full Back.

Some weird selection going on - with the players we have I can't
quite get my head around it. I am sure there is a plan.

We do seem to be in a Rut and, apart from last Saturday, are
struggling to get out of it. I'm sure that if, on this forum,
the supporters were asked to select the squad for our next game,
we would see quite a few different combinations. But we are
not the Coaches.
The Coaches will select a squad after watching them in a game
and in the following weeks Coaching / Training Sessions.
There will be quite a few reasons why certain players are
selected, and others are not. Since I stopped playing I have
never attended a Training session, so only see the Players
during a game. We may not agree with the squad selected but
should accept it, has its made by people in a better position
than us to make it.
I would accept that if a squad are not playing well, and
positive results are not forthcoming, then a change of Coach can
give a squad fresh impetus by bringing in new Coaching methods
and a different style of play. Without doubt something has to
change, and sooner rather than later. I still say that we have
a good squad of players for the level we are in, and can't
really understand why we are not getting better results.
Having said that, I would like to see, if possible, 3 or 4 new
Players brought in on Loan / DR. This also gives a squad
fresh impetus, and if they are players from a higher Division,
they quite often inspire the Players around then to play better.
If Anthony has left the Club, then I wish him all the best for
the future. He's a good man, and he has a good past record of
Coaching at different levels.
