Could be worse. I thought I would drive to N London, get the
Jubilee Line from Stanmore to N Greenwich and walk the last
couple of miles to the ground.
Got in the car at 9, realised I had left my glasses in the
house. Left the car running to warm up windows, took house key
off the ring and set back off for the house. Slipped on the ice,
banging my foot and the key went up in the air somewhere.
Silver single key, silvery white frosty front garden - took me
20 minutes to find it.
Set off, realising I wasn't going to get to Watford Gap in time
for a McD's breakfast so thought I would go to the McD's at
Junction 28. As I was walking towards the door, I realised 2
things: 1, McDonald's was closed for refurbishments and, 2, I
must have done more damage to my foot than I first thought
because I could barely walk. Definitely not going to do the 4
miles walking to get me to the ground and back.
So drove 40 minutes north to watch Tigers get mauled to death by
Sedgley Park in the freezing fog. The 'pie' was the saddest
object I have ever seen marketed as food.
So, can't comment on the game; roll on next week.

Yes, it was" a bad day at the office" for one of the Tigers
teams. Might be a local derby next year. I hope not!!

Tigers actually played some very good rugby in the last 10
minutes. Pretty grim for the first hour though.

Couldn't go yesterday as I was in Bath at Jonathan Pie (superb
by the way and a top bloke, nice pint with him after the gig).
Off to Elthamians next week. From the start of the season I had
these down a 0 pointers. Trouble with this season is the games I
had down as 4's and 5's have gone wrong on a few occasions. It
is not relegation yet but it is a consideration, need some
points. Other teams picking up good points but Moseley seem to
have dropped off. Moseley and Cambridge seem to be the catchable
teams. However the others are at least 4 wins in front. Assuming
they only win another 4 games - we have to win 8 to catch them.
So getting to be a tall order for us. Need to beat Canterbury
and Sale before christmas.

Forget next week (anything is a bonus) but we need 10 points
from the next 2. Then January & February there is every chance
we could go on a good run. Let’s stay positive and get behind
the boys
