11 points the difference just to get out of jail but head coach/
coaches seriously have to go they Obviously thought they could
bring something to the table but an empty plate isn’t that.
The players are capable and have proved that at other clubs and
here last season

Let's be honest today was probably the worst performance for a
long long time in the first half we gave away 9 penalties
dropped the ball 4times and mucked up the line out 3time we were
kicking the ball away aimlessly I feel really sorry for the
forwards they battle hard for the ball only for it to be kicked
straight back to the opposition the scrum was hammered every
time I hope I am wrong but at this rate I can't see us winning
another game and religation is on the horizon unless there is a
massive improvement .

It is hard to disagree with anything that has been said. So the
way forward is?

A huge 12 to break the line and a slab of a lock who bites the
heads off children.

Very hard to disagree with what’s been said. I understand there
are injuries in the front row but we need to sign replacements
across the pack ASAP. If you can’t win your own scrum and have
no platform to go off you’re not going to win many games not
just in this league but any league. For me we need to find some
experienced players from somewhere to help these lads out. Sick
of seeing our lineout again. That one on half time was the
killer blow. 3 -4 months into the season and the lineout still
don’t work!!!!! How??? Cinderfords was simple yet near 100%
affective. Far too many dropped balls and very little
penetration. But hey we will swap 4or5 players again like most
weeks and carry on. Unfortunately we are in deep doo doo. Unless
there are some hard decisions made I can’t see anything changing

I am normally a glass half full kind of person and have always
been supportive of the team, but I am a glass nearly empty
person after today's game. The only good things I can say is
that we had a good first 5 minutes, the pie and chip with gravy
was great and the ale was good in the bar. Something is wrong at
the moment, be it lack of confident, lack of direction or
something deeper. We need to get to the bottom of this ASAP or
down the leagues we will go.

Mainly it’s confidence!
Once you get on a losing run that goes and you then try too
hard.
We need to keep things simple, battle for everything and make
our own luck.

However there has to be a reason for the lack of confidence and
that seems to be getting well beaten every week, forwards being
absolutely overwhelmed week in week out. Backs out manoeuvred
and so defeat followed by defeat and then I agree the lack of
confidence. I don't think the route was 'we have a lack of
confidence therefore we don't play well' Consequently we have
to address the underlying root causes otherwise all we would
need is a bit of positive thinking etc. It is becoming
increasingly clear why there is the above - hence Codling?

Losing 4 games that we could have won and drawing 1 we also
could have won hasn’t helped.
That’s at least 14 points lost!
So in 5 of those games our pack were not overwhelmed.
I’ve not seen the last 3 games so can’t comment on them.
Injuries, selection and lack of luck also compound this.
Is Codling really involved!
He knows his stuff but he’s not a long term answer!

I understand the outcome as you have put. Its the reasons behind
those outcomes that I think need exploring in detail to get the
right change. Otherwise we could be saying 12 games we lost that
we should have won 54 points lost etc etc. its unpicking
strategy that will create the solution. In the past we have been
very guilty of soldiering on when radical analysis and change is
needed IMO. If in my business I was facing such dramatic
outcomes I would be moving on strategy, it has to be. But to
move on the right thing, rather than something it is necessary
to completely understand why we are where we are. Not sure we
do.
