My memory not as good as it was. How long was Codling with us
last time? Did he leave or get the sack?

Last time he was here Codling left due to a London Scottish
offering him more money I believe. I'm pretty sure he saw it out
until the end of the season though. Either way I'm sure his
expertise will only be of benefit in our current situation!
Good luck today boys. Let's get 5 points and get our season on
track!

Full Time lost 30 - 7. Not even a competitive score. We are now
in serious trouble. I can't see where the next win comes from. I
wasn't there but from twitter and my dad keeping me updated, the
scrum was battered again, line out not working, too many pens
and no penetration. For me we need a new coaching team now. We
have gone backwards since the start of the season. IMO poor game
plans, poor team selection choices, lack of creativity, lack of
basics, some fitness issues, poor discipline, lack of ownership
for where and when things go wrong, lack of honesty and grit.
We have to start winning or we will be relegated and the
implications of that could be very serious for our club. Unless
I'm mistaken we are no longer 'Punching above our weight' other
teams in this league sign and hold onto a core team and key
players. Our whole strategy seems completely off.
It is totally unacceptable to loose like that at Clifton Lane.
Particularly to a side we can beat.

Gave far too many penalties away today.
Scrum was crap. Got a scrum on 5 metre line towards the end and
we were blown away.
Coaching staff have to go as far as I am concerned. Listened to
the post match "huddle"and they were being bollocked.
Too much stick and not enough carrot.
Very disappointed.

It is so hard to understand. On paper we have a good team but we
are getting well beaten. We seem to lack structure to break down
teams. Our pack looks a decent size but is getting hammered week
in week out and we don't look like winning. It is hard to see
where the next win is coming from. Two really hard away games to
come where we may get 0 points. Then Canterbury and then a
crunch game at Sale. We could be in the position of needing 8
wins after Christmas to have a chance of survival. Nat 2 is a
real possibility now.

Yes other results are tough we are now 11 pts and three wins
from safety. This is now really serious if we want to stay up.
No more talk of young team, bedding in, damp conditions. If we
want to stay up has to be an open and frank discussion regarding
performance of a team that on paper should be competitive.
