Coaches need to go. Who for?? God only knows. But Jesus Christ
how long we got to go before they realise they aren’t cutting it
at this level?? I honestly fear a 50 point reverse next week AT
HOME!!!

Poor result. You can't throw away a 14 - 3 lead. Something
drastic needs to happen. We looked pretty sharp earlier in the
year. We dominated sale at home but we have completely caved in.
We can't blame a young team etc as these lads can compete at
this level. I still believe we have an all round stronger squad
than last season. We miss a few players but we have more depth
and the players we lost were replaced with suitable lads. Seb,
Irvine, Dolly, Abrahams etc had star quality that is missed and
Joe Barker added stability but we have plenty of good players.
Big ball carriers in the pack - Maka, Wilson, Williams,
Whitfield etc and powerful / fast backs - Cooke, Dunne, Leaky,
Bullough, Field etc. The attributes are there but we are
misfiring.
No excuses this week. Someone / people needs to take
responsibility for what is going on. Again I will say it, 2 HEAD
coaches doesn't work. Head coach and forwards coach works, Head
coach and Backs coach works. We need a man at the top with the
plan of how we are going to play and people below him
implementing his ideas and working on fine detail in their
speciality.
A club like ours should be perfectly capable of competing at
this level, building and holding onto a team. We can't blame
other richer clubs or us punching above our weight anymore. We
are in trouble. I can't see where the next win comes from.
Unless we string a good amount of wins together soon we are in
for a dog fight. Top 6 and promotion is way out of the window
for me.
The last time we had dire results like this we were relegated
from the champ.
You have to ask If we can only scrape a draw at Ionians who are
we going to beat ?
I have hope as I always will back Roth but there needs to be a
serious and honest look at the team and the coaches to find out
what is going so wrong.

I’ve not seen last 2 games but I think we’re a firm ground team
and current conditions don’t suit.
We need to find a way and adapt very quickly.
The lads are trying their hardest and now confidence is in short
supply.
