Very good win. We dominated the vast majoroty of the match. Sale
didnt look like scoring until a poor last 10 minutes from us
where we seemed to switch off. We look way more stable this
year. A lot to still improve but the backs look deadly and the
forwards powerful. Great team effort. Great defence. If we keep
pushing on and improving then we are in for a good season. Very
positive after that game.

Great first half, Sale never looked like scoring a try in the
first half. We butchered a couple of good try scoring chances in
the first half. We were well in control of the second half until
the final 5 minutes where we seemed to go to sleep and switch
off. This is when Sale got their 2 tries. Bit nervy at the end ,
but all in all a great result. I see the Rosslyn park turned
over Old Elthamians away as well so all in all 2 good games to
start the season.

Good game. It bodes well for another exciting season. Backs
look sharp - 2 quality tries in the first half and could have
been more in the second; great break and pass from Connor Dever.
Just didn't stick in the winger's hands.
Went into a game management mode for part of the second half and
scored 2 forwards tries. Switched off for the last few minutes.
Defence looked really solid until the switch-off.
When Harry Whitfield came on, we destroyed the first scrum -
then there wasn't another scrum for the rest of the game.
Pie was very good too. Well done all.

Great for the boys to get their season started after a tough
first week at Rosslyn.
Forwards again looked good against a big Sale team. Backs looked
good, although kicking the ball in the air didn't seemed to have
quite the same effect as last year... yet
Nevertheless, I am sure we're in for an other positive season.

High kick forward works best when we have got Dan Leake under
it. Connor Field had Dan's spot on Saturday. Have to say that
Connor looks more solid in defence - bit of a dilemma, with
Robbins looking quick on the other wing. Still better to have
too many wingers than not enough.
