If there’s no relegation from the Championship then will there
       be promotion from our league?

And if that happened how could the Championship clubs ever
complain if the Premiership decided to ring Fence its self!

The talk is that there will be no Relegation from the
Premiership, the top of the Championship will be promoted
therefore making the Premiership a 13 team league. One up from
National One as usual. This will take place at the end of this
       season.
Of course knowing the RFU and the Prem, they might change their
       minds again.
If Leeds manage to survive and stay in the Championship for this
season, then OK, but if they fall then Richmond would stay up.
But what if Richmond refuse (if they can) would the Championship
run as an 11 team league, or would Runners-Up OE's be asked to
move up. What if no team wants to move up from Nat One.
What's the RFU's rules on this, does anyone know.
It's stated on the Champ Forum, that Leeds have until 31st July
to sort thinks out, then the RFU would make a descition.
That's only 5 wks before the start of the season, surely a
descition MUST be made well before then.
The way this situation is going, anyone would think that Boris
Johnson was in charge at the RFU.

More departures confirmed for Yorkshire Carnegie
Best wishes to Elliott Ward, Lewis Wilson, Harry Newborn and Tom
Bullough who are all set to join Rotherham Titans for the
       2019-20 season.
All four players came through the Carnegie Academy and went on
to play for the first team in the Championship and Championship
       Cup.
Former Sandal player, Ward, started his journey with Carnegie in
the Under-16s and went on to make his debut in 2017-18 British
and Irish Cup game against Jersey. He made a total of 17
appearances for the club. Wilson, an England U19 international,
made his debut in the 2016-17 against Dragons in the British and
Irish Cup and made a further 24 first team appearances. Newborn
made his breakthrough from the Academy during the 2017-18
season, his debut coming against Jersey. He made an instant
impression and earned another 19 appearances in his first
season. Injury limited the Beverley born hookers final season,
with just one ore appearance against Hartpury. Bullough played
for Carnegie from Under-15s right through to the first team,
where he made 26 appearances, 17 of those coming last season.
JB Bruzullier, who joined Carnegie at the start of last season
and made 26 appearances for the club, has secured his future in
the Greene King IPA Championship after signing a contract with
       Cornish Pirates.
On behalf of everyone at Yorkshire Carnegie we would like to
thank all the players and wish them the best for their futures.
Here are the latest confirmed moves in full:
       Josh Bainbridge - Jersey Reds
       Tom Bullough - Rotherham Titans
       JB Bruzulier - Cornish Pirates
       Brendan Cope - Jersey Reds
       Cian Romaine - Cornish Pirates
       Harry Davey - Cornish Pirates
       Joe Buckle - Coventry
       Andy Forsyth - Coventry
       Andrew Foster - Doncaster
       Pete Lucock - Doncaster
       Matt Smith - Doncaster
       Jake Ilnicki - Seattle Seawolves
       Chris Elder - Chinnor

The Championship fixtures are out and Leeds are on them. The
are still awaiting the outcome of their proposed CVA, if that is
not agreed by the Creditors then ithey could possibly be
Liquidated. For a CVA to be accepted, All Rugby related debts
should be honoured. If the players they brought over from NZ
insist on their contracts being honoured in full, that would be
close to £1,000,000. This situation could go on has long as
Brexit, The RFU are as bad as the Conservative Negotiators when
it comes to making a descition.

It looks like Leeds are to survive as creditors have agreed to
the CVA accepting 15p in the £1according to posts on rolling
       maul
Why should any body else play by the rules when you can spend
money you don't have and pay back a tiny amount of whats owed.

I'm pleased they will survive but this feels a bit rough on
Richmond. Leeds just need to find a squad now!

They've just got to assemble a Squad now, tho with no
Relegation next season it doesn't matter if they don't get a
Championship quality group of players. Its going to be
interesting to see where they get players from. The big problem
is getting suppliers to have confidence in them, and that will
take some time. Its not been mentioned officially how much the
creditors settled for, but whatever it was Leeds have got off
lightly. Just where will they get future backing from, trust
can be easily lost, but not easily regained.
Because they are a Rugby Club, and a Yorkshire Club at that, I
would like to see them eventually get back on their feet again.
What they will have to do is show a bit of humility and not
believe that they are the Bee's Knees of Yorkshire Rugby. They
need to come away from Headingley and the pressures of trying to
put money into the whole set-up there.
The Leeds Rhinos, as things are going, are heading for
relegation again, and IF that happens then the pressures at
       Headingley will be even greater.
With the money from the RFU and PREM being about £680,000, they
will hope that their sponsors will stay with them. They've
never been well supported and it will be interesting to see what
thier crowds are like this season.
