It appears that Secure Trading the main backers of Old
Elthamiians and main sponsors of the England 7's team have gone
into administration.
This must be very worrying for O/Es has they seem to have signed
a few championship quality players who will probably be on
championship wages it also appear's that Secure Trading provide
jobs for O/Es players.

Yes and they still owe the RFU £1m from the sevens sponsorship
which they are unlikely to receive.

coming season is secure.

Leeds is surely an example of why it’s not wise to overextend
the wages bill. Personally until the Horlicks that is the
Championship league is sorted out I cannot see any purpose in a
club risking its existence by profligacy in attempting
promotion.

Yes there was a posting on the Rolling Maul forum from the OEs
DOR Gavin Lach saying an alternative major sponsor has been
secured. OEs have just announced the signing of 15, mostly
Championship experienced players. These include Perry Parker.
Anyone know anything about him?

He joined us in 2014 and played in 14 games (9 starts). The
only rememberable thing about him was his Big Brown Bushy Beard.
Of course he may have improved in the past 5yrs. A big man who
seemed worried about getting "stuck In".

As winger says for a big bloke he seemed very reluctant to get
stuck in think he left us and went to France or Italy.

Thanks for responses. Apparently he was in France last season
and before that Italy as well as previous experience with
Edinburgh and Ospreys.

I thought he was reluctant for. Very big guy. I would rather
have our 2nd rows.
