Just been checking out some of the new signings, Harry Whitfield
at prop is a converted centre who looks very handy. He’s 20stone
(his fighting weight) and scored 7 tries in the league for
Huddersfield, I can imagine him getting some decent game time
for us. We look to have a very strong front row.

Bloody Hell, I tackled some Big blokes in my time, but 20 stones
coming at you. I wonder what weight he was when playing at
Centre ?. I bet he didn't have to rely on a Side-Step, just
took route one.

At titans Tuesday, it was mentioned we were looking at a new
fullback and had two player on trial, one was george castledine
I think, the other just referred to as “tame”, anyone know any
more?

Couldn't find much on George Castledine, ( Stand-Off / Centre )
but found this on Derby's website. Posted 25 Jan 2017.
George Castledine has broken the 1000 pts barrier, he now has
1010 pts in 103 games
25 T 270 C 115 P If he's kept up his scoring rate
since then, he could be an asset to us.

Got to agree with second rower shortage. Same as last season
although we did seem to get by but not preferable

Elliott Ward is showing as a Back Row player, but is
predominately a Lock. He was signed as a Lock by Leeds.
Ben Waddington has played mainly at No 8, but can play at
Lock.
