Comings and Goings

On the National Leagues Forum there are quite a few Signings /
Re-signings being announced.
We know that Tom Cotterill has left and Dan Richardson and Ali
Thompson are leaving at the end of the season.
As always it would be good to know who else is definitely
leaving, ideally before next Saturday ( last Home game ), so we
can say our "Thank You's" to them and wish them well. I know
that some names can't be given has they may still be in
negotiations.
It's now a matter of waiting, with bated breath, as to who WE
will be Re-signing / Signing for the New season. What we do
know is that Nick and Martin will be trying their best to
re-sign the players they wish to retain, and to bring in players
that can give the squad more strength and experience. I'm not
going to name individual players, but I would retain 18 of our
current squad. I'm sure that the majority of those players
would be named by you as well.

I think there will be a few going. At the last home match there
was a guy in the shed talking about what it would be like for
the players next season. It didn't sound like he was talking
about Roth. Noidea who he was.

Good to read in the Advertiser, Jack Bergmanas expressing his
desire to remain at the club, would certainly be a useful player
to retain.

I would keep every body that wants to stay there is a great team
spirit around the club which had been missing for the last
couple of seasons.

Interesting to see how many boys progress or get picked up by
championship teams. Be a shame if donny just snaffle the likes
of seb

Seb will have tough competition to get into donny back row and
so it will be a tempting way for him to move on to step up to
that level, and he will if asked. We need him to stay with the
rest but need some additions. Toby not even on the bench at
Donny yesterday however their front row played well. Bomber had
a really good game. Waste if Toby isn't getting a game

Toby played for Sheffield Tigers yesterday and scored a try -
getting to be a habit as he also scored a try for Germany!
