Tiger Titan on the Nat One Forum has posted ( Sheff Tigers
and Titans supporter ? )
Tigers have signed George Bretag-Norrls from Cambridge.
Titans have signed Mike Ayton , Full Back, from Cambridge. He
scored the second try against us last week.
Is it true ?
Joe Barker and Jamie Ure have both stated that they would like
to stay at the Club next season.

Yep. Do we know anything about him and does it mean our wings
are already heading off to championship

I think he scored against us in both games. Doesn't he play
full back?

He is a fullback or winger who scored Cambridge second try after
a chip over our defence according to Cams website he works in
insurance so Martin might have something to do with him coming
up here.

There was a good interview with Joe Barker in Fridays
Advertiser. Part of what was said --------
We want to keep the core of this team, you can see what they
have done and the youth of the squad and that there is something
in them. I would love to remain a part of it, that's my plan
but we will have to see what happens. There are no contracts
on the table as yet. I don't think the Club knows where it is
financially yet, so can't commit to anything yet. Once things
get sorted 'up top' then we can let people know.
He says they accept the need to bring in some more experienced
players for next season, it is easier said than done due to
financial and geographical constraints. With our Budget and
Area, it is hard to find that type of player but we are looking
for experience In certain area's.
Also read that Bunny's 18yrs old Son Morgan, who plays at
Fly-Half for Hull Ionions, played recently in the Yorkshire
U20's team that beat Lancashire 35 - 25. Maybe one for the
future.
