If he does decide to stay, then that would be very good news,

This is part of a wider issue of the game not being able to
sustain itself in a wider professional format. There have been
many signals that this is the case. PT seems to be a safer route
- but that puts opportunity for employment and sponsoring
through that route in the mix.

Which means better players will gravitate to bigger cities with
improved job opportunities.

Article in the Yorkshire Post does not make good reading for
Leeds Rugby Union.
The paper says they have spoken to a player, who told them that
the Club has told the Players that they may not be able to Pay
them.
With 3 games left the money is running out. The player has
said that the Squad has considered Boycotting their game against
Doncaster this week-end. It looks like the majority, if not all,
of the current squad will be leaving.
In depth article on the Championship Forum.
What can Leeds do, they will have to pay the 8 player they
signed on 18 Month contracts, back in December. If they breach
these contracts then the Club will/could be sued by these
players. The could also be sued by the rest of the squad if
payments are not honoured. What would happen if the Doncaster
game is not player, there could be serious consequences.
I don't know what is going to happen with the Club, but the
future looks bleak. When the Club does give out an official
statement, it will surely make interesting reading.

McGeechan seems to be keeping a low profile on this one,
considering his very public pronouncements in the past. Is he
still involved?
