Fair points made there. Consistency is definitely an issue this
season. If you put together a video of all our best plays this
season we would look like the best side in the league however
the problem is between the good plays are silly and costly
errors. I think the only real way to solve this consistency
issue is to secure a team for next season so the lads go into
next year on the ground running. Another new team will come with
another year of 'building'. A gelled core team next year with
some quality additions will be a really strong side for this
league.
All is not lost. Looking forward to seeing the result on
Saturday

Our spells of good defending are sometimes outnumbered by
opposition backs gathering the ball in their own side and
running through our entire team to score.

They are. We have leaked some very soft tries this year. I think
the only way to combat that is to secure a good percentage of
our team, improve in the weaker areas and look to employ a
skills / defence coach for next season. Arguably a new head
coach and Joe drops to backs coach. Not nocking Joe as he has
done a great job but there are definitely gaps in our play. I
also suppose it depends on our finances and the clubs vision for
the future as well. Do we actually want to go back to the champ
? Yes there is a certain status that comes with that but this
season has been far,far more enjoyable and apart from a few we
have been competitive in every single game. Do we / will we have
enough money to sustain the Championship? Can we compete
financially with the rich London / Southern clubs coming through
?
I would only want to return to the champ if we could sustain a
competitive side without breaking the bank.
Food for thought.
P.S. Maybe Leeds' financial backer might want to give a proper
'Yorkshire rugby club' a few quid now he is leaving Leeds ;D ;D
;D ;D

I thought both 2nd rows had a good game. Some decent carries and
a good break too by Jamie Ure with a decent offload and DPR was
solid in defense. Both add good grunt in the scrum to add to our
dominance in that area and lineout went well. Not too sure what
else you want in a 2nd row?
Yes both Connor and Frosty are good lads but I don’t think Jamie
and DPR weaken that department

I think you're right Gareth. I was particularly pleased to have
a working lineout.
