I was going to give my opinion on this Game, but if I do, I
would have to Ban myself from the Forum.
30% Hands, 70% Boot. Is that Rugby.

Eddie got things wrong today in loads of ways.
The game plan should have changed.
Also we had game changers that weren’t used.
Robson should have been on at HT!

It’s the players that got things wrong. Poor execution
especially kicking out of hand. ( of which there was too much)

and no plan B! However in the long run it may have done us good
to not win that because it is now very evident what some of our
weaknesses are and so what we need to work on??

I know it was Italy, but it was still an excellent performance.
If England had played that style of Rugby against Wales,
instead of the continuous Box Kicking and Kick-Chase, we would
have beaten then and now stand one Win away from a Triple Crown
and Grand Slam.
We played into Wales hands by kicking the ball to them, and gave
them the game. France gave them the game by making Two
schoolboy errors, and 14pts. Personally I think Wales are
fortunate to be in the position they are.
People have said that this is the best Wales team, Ever. I
suggest that there are many Welsh Players from back in the 60 /
70 that would disagree with that.

After watching Ireland beat France yesterday, I predict that
they will beat Wales on Saturday. Also England will beat
Scotland.
The main difference with England is that they cut down on the
Kicking and ran with the Ball in Hand more. To score 8 Tries in
an International, whoever the opopposition, is excellent. Play
the same style of game with the same squad and it should be a
great Victory. It was good to see the power we had in the backs.
Te'o needs more game time, but with him and Tuilagi in the
Centre's we have good Line-Breakers. Cokanasiga was a
revelation with his Speed and Strength, must be a cert starter
against Scotland. Some of his one-handed ball carrying and
offloading was exceptional. A Lomu in the making ?.
Our Forwards certainly hunted has a 'pack' and our starting
front row was outstanding. Brad Shields also had a very good
game and his support play was top class. His two tries were
well deserved.
England's continuous tactic of Kicking the Ball straight into
the Welsh Full Backs arms may well come back to haunt them after
the Final whistles on Saturday. A case of what might have been
?
A couple of the Match Stats in the Rugby Paper confused me
Possession Eng. 39% It. 61%
Territory Eng. 39% It 61%
If these are not a misprint, then someone was watching a
different game to me

The biggest capitulation by England ?
The biggest comeback by any team against England ?
Of course I'll stand corrected if anyone knows different.
Chris Harris, another name to add to our International Players
board, if we ever get round to updating it.
Disappointed that England lost, but what a game to watch. The
disappointment would have been 10 times greater if Ireland had
beaten Wales.
First half England were full of power and pace. Slick passing
and in their face tackling. Gave Scotland no space to do
anything.
Second half "lost the plot", and reverted back to, too much
kicking, giving the Ball away.
