Good win but we desperately need a number 10. Joe has got the
team well coached but he isn't a number 10 and cost us a lot of
yards and errors today. Exciting to watch but a number 10 will
       be our next step change.

Totally agree Jim and although Joes brilliant for us in so many
ways we need a 10 quickly.
On another thread the loan 5 impressed me!
       I hope he stays!

Thought our defence won us that game we were so solid. Agree
with John I was very impressed with our new second row.

Have to agree regarding Joe, a brilliant lad for the Club and
can't complain regarding his coaching and style of play he's got
the lads playing. But today he had a poor game, where he must
have thrown 3 or 4 wild miss pass's, luckily only one was
intercepted and that player was wrapped up quickly. In a tight
game you keep the ball tight, and be patient until a chance
appears. Those miss pass's COULD have given away 2, possibly
more, try's. Another 10 must be on the Clubs Christmas Wish
list. I noticed that Joe has had his Hair cropped, maybe this
has given him the Samson complex.
Also agree regarding our defence, some of our work near our own
line, was excellent, where on a few occasions we took the ball
off DMP and cleared it. Luis Ball and Zak Poole again had very
good games. It's hard to keep track of the number of up-tight
tackles they put in. Have to mention Prop Dan Richardson, a big
man who always causes problems for the opposition in the set
       Scrums.
Also Connor Dever, not the biggest of players but shows no fear
when going in to ' Tackle Giants'.
Another Win to continue our run to 5 games, next game is Away to
Rosslyn Park another HARD game, but the way we are winning
games, who knows what the outcome will be.
One last thing, what our lads need to learn is, in tight games
there are times when its best to " stick it up your Jumper" and
keep the ball tight. It's not always best to keep passing the
ball when your opponents are in your face, or to kick it
       aimlessly forward.
It looks good to us to see fast flowing Rugby, but retaining the
ball is a big part of our game. Quite often its better to go to
ground with the ball and keep recycling it.

I thought our scrum was totally dominant in the set piece and
after 20 minutes was expecting an easy win. Full credit to
Darlington for making a real contest of it and making us work so
hard for the win and preventing us from getting the bonus point
       try.
