Had to cry off, late on, from coming to the game today, so
followed it on Twitter. Bloody Hell, my nerves were shattered,
can't imagine what it was like there. If the weather was half
as bad in Rotherham as it's been in Leeds, it must have been a
nightmare for the Players to cope with.
The final whistle must have been a massive relief for our
players and supporters, but the outcome is 4pts for us and just
1pt for B lackheath. It sounded really bad concerning the loss
of light, how close was it to the Ref stopping the game.
Whatever the game was like, its a great Win against one off the
Top two teams in the League.
Without being there its hard to say, but it didn't sound like
the Ref was on very friendly terms with our Lads today. How many
decisions went against us. Joe Barker is a totally honest Lad,
so when he said he did nothing wrong to warrant the Yellow, I
believe him. What do you say ?.
Hope to be there next week and hope that the weather conditions
are better.

What a game! 100% commitment and, once again, the lads got the
points at the crucial moment.
Defence was excellent; even when Blackheath had the ball, the
were getting driven back. Fantastic domination by the scrum
towards the end. MoM - one of the props?
Just awesome.

Did our new prop get much game time?

Don't think he got on. But the props who were on did a very
good job - difficult to take them off.

I thought the new lad came on and looked very useful. Great win
and what character and self belief this squad have. Blackheath
were a good team and tried to turn screws but we were tremendous
in defence. Some very iffy and damned annoying officiating but
quality in refs does not seem high overall so will have to get
used to it. Joe never a yellow and a tackle off the ball should
have been a yellow but they got the scrum. Shed awesome

It was that dark that Jim can be forgiven for his error.
The 3 injured Blackheath players in the shed and had some great
banter.

I know that the weather was grim but I’d hoped there would have
been more bodies there. I think it was one of the key games of
the season. Those that attended didn’t perhaps see the greatest
game of running rugby they are likely to see. They did see a
below strength side show great skill and courage. It’s set us up
for a great second half of the season
